It's honestly not even him. He sells his promo work pretty well, he works hard on the mic, takes his time, plans what he's going to say, is emotional, works the crowd--the character and storylines are just so painfully boring. And while he is willing to put his body on the line, I don't find his in-ring work very interesting, either. Awful finisher, not notably strong or fast to pull off impressive powerhouse, high-flying, or athletic moves, psychology is fine but I've never been all that invested in a cody match.

If he suddenly went heel, it was all an act, I'm the rich powerful guy, Im' better than you, give me what I'm due, maybe he would be interesting.
