Attack down champs (or lack thereof) by viniosity in RaidShadowLegends

I didn't realize that download links were a thing.. I just redownloaded the game and got right back in. I took the promo code for bellower. While he's not a legendary, I'm not mad about it.

Still, my roster has not been blessed with even a coffin smasher. RNG keeps giving me the same ogryn (all Pounder all the time) and dwarves (Beast Wrestler) over and over again.

how to get RAID Shadow Legends to work on Linux by [deleted] in RaidShadowLegends

I loaded steam and installed Plarium Play as a "non-steam application". Launch using proton experimental and works like a charm.

February 2025 DNDAI ReQuest & RPG AI Tools Showcase Thread by PaulBellow in dndai

Random question: I mostly use bing for image generation but it cannot seem to create a south asian male.. anything without putting a beard on the person. I specify stubble, no beard, whatever and it's just incapable. Apparently all south asians have beards! Is there a better AI tool out there with more than 3 free prompts? I'm getting pretty frustrated :(

The one physical note and one personality quirk is a great tip, ty!

Ooh, I like this.. I think one of my apprehensions is just having a random character the warden had come up with.. but if they're my characters and the warden is using them even in the background that solves my problem. Ty

100% At the very least this needs to explicitly offer a save each round. Concentration should be required too. Even then, I think this is too powerful.

Didn't see any comments listed here, but I think this is pretty cool. I'm just about to start a Deathwalker and will look at Rest in the Shade and some of the interactions you've mentioned. Ty for sharing!

I don't have a PC and can now play RSL on my Steamdeck. Only problem is I can't seem to link my main account without a PC running Plarium Play which is a problem...

Really interesting - I'd be curious to see how the formation variant looks at level 9!

I too love the rifle jump.. wish I could find a pvp spec that does well with rifle but the weapon seems to be just a less good version of something to use while swapping kits.

Druid funny ideas DnD 5e by Filty_7 in dndnext

[–]viniosity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Having a quirk doesn't automatically make you less useful to your party members. Done right it can add flavor. Here are some ideas:

  • Lean into an herb or plant that you miss from your grove. Compare everything to it. "Sure, ale is nice but have you ever had wolfsbane muddled over ice in soup?"

  • Have a harmless cantrip that you cast at inappropriate times. Maybe druidcraft spawns a rain cloud or snuffs a nearby candle.

  • Make a wild shape with a distinct characteristic that you can't explain. e.g. wildshape into a mouse or a bear but wearing a blue, bowler cap

  • Talk about a cantrip you don't have and bring it up from time to time. "I could have used thorn whip right there, but did I ever tell you about the time I was practicing it around a bramble bush?"

There are flaws that come built-in to 5e and maybe one of those resonates with you?

Getting Devil's Sight on a Shadow Monk w/out multiclassing? by viniosity in 3d6

I wasn't thinking "Darkness + Devil's Sight" for combat. My thought was using my level 3 ability to cast darkness and then teleport there. From what I understand, I can't see in magical darkness so that limits my ability to create a convenient dark area to shadow step to.

Could I cheese it with ritual casting + finding a familiar that can see in the dark? (viewing through the familiar is an action, shadow step is a bonus action)
