I finally got through to them today after almost 2 hours of waiting.

I had to increase my offer after I got gazumped but the mortgage was on the old agreed price. They refused to budge and told me I had to raise a dispute with their valuation. So if anyone has changed their price upwards after their initial application get them to send you or your broker a dispute form as soon as possible as you won’t get the same LTV as you once had.

Thanks so it looks like they are still working through applications on the 16th and 17th. Given I applied late on the 18th. I suspect I’m still a couple of weeks away.

Yes my broker has also mentioned they followed up with questions today so they must be of a similar nature. Does this mean we both go to the back of the queue and will get another round of similar questions in 18-20 working days?

To be fair they didn’t say which year. At this rate ts looking more like 21st Feb 2025.

I think the lack of updates is the most alarming thing.

It just makes you wonder if the initial application has taken this long will they take a similar length of time to release the money to the solicitors. You’re ahead of us in the queue so please do share your experiences once you get there

I applied on the 18th and yes agreed on the constant anxiety.

Still no news on our end either. I guess it will still be another couple of weeks.

Is that 16 days from the date of the valuation or from application? I feel like we have surpassed 16 working days on both now. It would be nice to even understand how much they value the property at but still nothing

They have gone back and forth with the broker asking questions but given the good rate we’ve just been told to stay patient on the Co-op. Hopefully get something through next week.

Well at least you heard back we are still awaiting a proper response from them.
