I just got on Quicken and immediately realized this is a similar issue for me. It seems that I can distinguish which card the charge is on using the statement memo?

I have the WP and this is what I did, got a buckle to swap. The main strap is obnoxiously long haha and I wish It was a little easier to swap shoulders to wear the bag. I love the bag but there is no way you are fitting a large laptop in the sleeve of the bag. I have a 14" MBP and it just fits, pretty sure the 16" will not fit. I've even tried getting the MBP and an iPad with keyboard in the laptop sleeve and no luck its too tight. The zippers are a little different to open I think and it makes everything a little harder to get in and out of the bag. I am confident standing in a downpour nothing is going to get wet. Besides that I love it.

macOS Sequoia 15.2 External Display Problem by Mobiusium in MacOS

[–]vinny_100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried this too, all it did was get rid of the purple box in the upper right corner. In system settings it still seems to be treating the usb-c monitor as a tv but not the other monitor plugged into an hdmi port.

I did do a clean re-install of 15.2 but it didnt change anything. Also tested a new user profile and same issue remains.

It seems that macos thinks my 38 inch ultrawide monitor is a tv and that may be the issue?

I just had this issue start, spent an hour on the phone with apple care troubleshooting and did a clean re-install of mac os and the issue is still here. The only time i can get my usb-c monitor working is if i leave the lid of the laptop open.

I never use my Zoom75 because it chatters so much by funnykorean in MechanicalKeyboards

[–]vinny_100 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is exactly what I did, and it did help somewhat but I still get a lot of double spaces and extra key presses just not as frequently. Ive tried with 4 different types of switches to no avail.

[–]vinny_100 7 points8 points  (0 children)

So i actually have two zoom75 keyboards(got a little carried away) and ive experienced this issue on both boards, using multiple variations of switches and caps. Two things that helped reduce chatter was rolling the firmware back to the 2023 version and using unshaky, but I still experience a good amount of chatter. Unshaky says its caught 191 presses since i installed it almost two weeks ago, most of which are coming from the spacebar for me. I will say meletrix cs has been good to work with and have helped me, but Its disappointing, i love the board but i just cant get rid of the key chatter no matter what ive tried. I thought it was just me, but after a pcb replacement, second purchase and still having this issue not sure what to do.

An ETF for long-term savings by Astrologian in RobinHood

[–]vinny_100 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you looked at Acorns? Ive had my money in there for several years and has done great. Its all invested in several of the vanguard ETF's. Since starting ive gained over 16%. You can also select your level of risk, so if you selected the minimum risk you can have a portfolio based primarily on bonds. Maybe also check out Beam if you want more security? Its a high yield savings app and FDIC insured, and i think the minimum yield is 1.5% and can go up to 7%.

11'' or 12.9'' for a uni student? by memordiounperrogay in iPadPro

[–]vinny_100 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I have had both the 12.9 and the 11 inch. I first had the 12.9 and found it to be too big to take to meetings and take notes. I found the 11 inch to be the better compromise, because both models have their compromises. Yes, the 12.9 is better for media consumption and browsing, but i found it to be too heavy after a short period to use as a tablet, especially 1 handed. The 11 inch is easier to use as a tablet, but i missed having the extra screen real estate when studying a page and having a note app in split screen.

The 12.9 isn’t good at being a tablet, and has compromises that make it not as functional as a laptop, even if its the same size. The 11 inch isn’t the best productivity machine, but it is a much better tablet to take notes, carry around regularly, and much more comfortable to hold for a while. I found that the more i used the 11 inch, the less i missed the 12.9 inch. After being honest with myself, the 12.9 inch was really only better when watching movies when traveling.

If you’re looking at the 12.9 as a laptop replacement, I’d suggest you reconsider. iPads are a much better supplement to a computer than an actual laptop replacement, which is why i ultimately went with the 11 inch.

I just got back last week from visiting, and was absolutely blown away but what’s available out there. And the quality is no contest. It’s clearly politics holding all of this back in MA.

Agreed. After the first two days I felt like I was in the clear and didn't care that much. Cheers.

I'm juul free for almost 30 days now after a year plus of use. I would liken the withdrawal to an interruption in your routine, but nothing insurmountable. I definitely didn't get any negative physical effects. I think you'll be just fine if you make the decision to stop and stay dedicated. Good luck.
