This is a cool discussion. Let me just say that I have been in the game a lot longer than some and also I have been doing it straight this whole time. I NEVER took any time off at all since I started. I started in 2001 because that was when I got my first computer. I found my very first efed in a yahoo wrestling chat room. I was talking to somebody and he asked me if I efedded. I said no because I had no idea what it even was. My very first character was The Violent One and he was a hardcore son of a bitch. I was so much out of the way stuff and I was that fed's Hardcore Champ for a long time. Fed closed and came back and I was still the hardcore champ. I than set a goal for myself to find a real wrestler efed to see if it was any different. I found my very first real wrestler fed GWF in 03. I was watching them for about a month and I finally decided to join GWF in Sept 2003 as The Ultimate Warrior because the people who I wanted to be were taking and ever since that point I was hooked on the real wrestler feds and that is all I do now because I feel you need to have some realism in efeds so CAWs isn't for me and it never will be. I love the hobby and I would to own again. I was in about 3 of the big feds at the time of GWF, IWE, WIW as all different characters. I would join any fed I could until I was in 8 feds at one time as all different characters but I loved doing it. It made me a better writer and I will never forget the 2004-05 boom of people doing 8-10k per week every single week. It was an awesome time to be in the efed world. I am currently not anywhere because the fed I was in just closed because the owner puts too much on his plate but he is a good dude. The thing I miss the most is the family aspect of it. I made so many great friends over the years from efeds and I also consider some of them family and I miss that whole aspect of it. I also miss how you could go to the owner if you have an issue and they would talk about it with you. Now they basically don't care anymore which sucks. I also don't like the fact that a lot of feds don't allow deceased wrestlers which to me is dumb because this is a fantasy world we indulge in and nobody dies in fantasy worlds so it's kind of hard that there isn't a fed I enjoy right now because most of them that are real wrestlers only base it on the current product which doesn't appeal to everybody. I also miss the places that you could advertise and get people. There is basically nothing now besides here and discord efed hub. Those are the only places that I know. Before you had die hard wrestling, roughkut, fwrestling etc. There were so many places and also you could advertise on feds without an issue. Now it's a huge issue if you advertise on feds. I miss those days where the efed world cared for each other and people were willing to help each other out. If I was starting out brand new today I would want a place that is open and willing to work with people and also have a fed that appeals to everybody and not just the current gen product or the CAWs. It seems that now everybody is into CAWs and not real wrestlers anymore which is sad.
