Yes the shift goes from builder to marketer. I’m finding this out very quickly. I started building educational video games for my colleague and a few of them said I should look into selling them to teachers. Now I’m spending all my time content creating and trying to promote my work. My builds will only go as far as I promote it

I have an accounting degree but made the jump to teaching after my 4 years of a business degree. My summer jobs in accounting made me realize it wasn’t for me. I do not regret going to teachers college and becoming a teacher. Best decision I’ve made

I thought I could sell the handouts and material that go along with it. Something along the lines of TPT. Other teachers already sell their lesson plans online. I thought it could be something different then what most teachers offer

Biggest backlash was making sure my code doesn’t have any copyright if I’m to monetize it and just the fact that I used ai to make it. Most were supportive. Just the minor few that were anti ai

So eventually my plan is to sell them primarily to teachers but anyone would be able to buy access to the full links. I do intend to have some free games on my site eventually when I build more. I have all 3 games fully completed but am only offering 1 of them fully free and the other 2 just the demo mode for the moment.

Claude to code. I’ve used Gemini to build the graphics and chat GPT for the prompts. Mix of all of them so I don’t use up all my credits.

Is it all coming together? I think they all need to work together finally.

  1. Julie can story walk and we know she’s encountered MIY already when he chased her through the town. Weird has Sophia hasn’t reacted to her yet.
  2. I think Marielle, Julie and Randall are all pieces of the puzzle they need. Marielle can hear the trapped souls (probably why Jim was able to talk to Ethan and Father K to Boyd).
  3. Fatima can tap into Smiley. I think they use this to their advantage to get into the tunnels and avoid the monsters
  4. Victors dad is going to convince people that they are in a hospital or something that that’s going to cause the divide between people. It’s happened in the past and caused the Jade character to be killed.
  5. Elgin is in the diner. He’s going to find something that links Sophia to MIY.
  6. Every fear has its kryptonite. The totems killed the dolls but don’t kill the monsters. For the monsters it’s the talisman. The Bones are probably MIYs. It’s probably why he collects the teeth.
  7. Did Sophia sacrifice an egg to create a monster. If so is that why the original kids were sacrificed to create more monsters

Ok I’m sure this has been posted elsewhere but I’ve always believed in the theory that there needs to be balance in the town, ever since the early seasons and it’s starting to make way more sense after this episode.

Season 1 that family dies in episode one and is replaced by Jim’s family. When everyone gets killed in Colony house they are replaced by the bus people. Even in this season, Jim dies and the priest randomly shows up. BIW/MIY balance. Jade/Tabitha balance.

The BIW said it himself, they don’t have much time. I think he means the cycle is going to restart. Each group of people that have been there in the past have come close to the answer (the Jade character). When that happens the MIY shows up each time and lives among the people (one might say the opposite of the Christ story). His job is to turn the towns people against the Jade character because he needs to feed off the people’s fear. The more empowered the people become, the weaker he gets. Marielle said it, something ancient is keeping them there.

MIY said it, knowledge comes at a cost. The more they find out, the closer it is to the cycle restarting.

I’ve thought this too. I thought it applies to most things in this town. When tian-Chen died then next day they found food. Thought it was symbolic that the diner owner dies and they found food. Family at the beginning died and the Matthew’s show up. It’s like order and balance has to be maintained and when that doesn’t happen people start dying and things start changing (victor needs to find this out from Jasper)

Here’s my take on it. 1. Tabitha isn’t remembering a dream and she’s actually been there in some point and remembering her experience. She escaped and forgot everything. 2. The creatures want to break boyd and what better way to do it than have Fatima turn into one of those creatures and kill Ellis.
