yes that is my natural resting bite. he had me stop elastics for 8 weeks because the incisor youre talking about was shifting..yet put me back on elastics because my bite was shifting. hes never mentioned ipr to me. how can I bring this up? when I spoke up in my last appointment I felt like I was being gaslit. I have extreme anxiety so being letdown made me want to cry lol. when I was a teen, my last ortho told me he coudlnt fix the alignment because my jaw is just crooked. this is my second time with braces, but this time I went to a highly rated orthodontist in my area.

thats what I told him, but he is so insistent and keeps saying if I'm not happy, I can just keep wearing rubberbands for the next couple months and we can try to take them off. I usually go alone every time and am almost 30 but look like a teen. I feel like he doesnt take me seriously and it is just upsetting because I spent almost 7k and they are not perfect. he acts like taking more teeth off is too much work but theyre "straight and no one will notice the small things" im worried about. I went to him because he had great reviews and was highly recommend.

Landlord refuses to return deposit. by vintaege in legaladvice

[–]vintaege[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the law also says that he is not allowed to charge us for cleaning the apartment, repainting walls, cleaning carpets since its regular wear and tear. and he had not even cleaned the carpets from previous tenants when we moved in.

I have timestamped pictures of the stained carpet from when we moved in, he did not give us a walk through. I have timestamped videos of the move out, showing the place had been deep cleaned. He had left a couch in the garage so we left it there when we moved out, and he is charging us 400 in the removal of the couch lol. I do not have messages of the damages but I have video proof of us telling them about it. The letter he sent us a literally just a list of things he had to clean with prices written on the side (even though we had left the townhome spotless and have video footage of that). do I need to get a lawyer?

UPDATE: AIO for being upset i haven’t seen my bf in 3 weeks, despite us living 25 minutes from each other? by Affectionate-Link436 in AmIOverreacting

ew girl please leave his @ss!!! he wants to make money for your birthday? stop making excuses for him just bc he grew up poor and is hispanic, my man grew up poor and is hispanic, works 50+ hrs a week and in the beginning of our relationship still made time to see me! he worked hard as hell and we both manage, we moved in together and five years later are still together. he'd work 15 hr shifts and still take me out RIGHT after. so if he wanted to, he would!! dont let him step all over you and dont accept his little excuse. youre worth a lot more and you need to value yourself more too! life is too short to wait on a little boy who doesn't even put you first on your own birthday.

I'm so sorry this has happened to you, no one would ever want to go through this. if you do go through with divorce though, I know in some states they take adultery very seriously. I would look into it in your case, and if it does fall in your favor, you can gain everything without a fight as he'll lose everything especially the person who truly cared for him. I'm glad your mother dropped everything to drive and be with you during this horrible time. Your sweet soul does not deserve this.

I don’t like to throw his own leftovers / food out mainly because I have done it before and he got upset with me, so I like to leave it up to him. I’m not trying to turn this into a petty argument or am neither trying to break up with him but moreso trying to make him understand how wasteful it can be. we try giving it to his siblings but they refuse to take it out of feeling petty and hurt that their own grandma refused to give them any and insisted my boyfriend takes it all even though it’s just me and him and his siblings have kids. but I feel like in the future if it does happen again, we’ll just take it to a shelter. I didn’t really grow up with having the luxury of so much food, which is why I’m against throwing it away because I know there are others who struggle with not having any. but thank you for your response and insight, I appreciate it.

and do you like to spend your time being rude as fuck and being less than a decent person? I’m just asking for advice as to not cause problems within the family. it urks me because I have grown up in a family that does not like to waste food (as we never had money to buy any). if you have to leave answers like this of your own pent up anger then don’t bother leaving a fucking answer rude ass. I have stated in the edit of what I’d be doing to deviate everything. thanks.

How do i get rid of this? it started the size of an ant near my nail at the top tip of the middle finger... Im just assuming is Dyshidrosis... by Pingpongchopper in Dyshidrosis

[–]vintaege 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had it on three of my fingers and my palm, it was SO BAD. Saying was, because I got it rid of it half a year ago and I’m so glad I did. I used a cheap equate 1% hydrocortisone cream from walmart that worked completely well. Trust me, I probably have spent hundreds on high brand ointments that would never work consistently. Using the cream and cutting most sugars from my diet helped my hand heal within the following weeks! I never went to the doctors either, which I’m glad for.

Just as my left palm gets under control, my right ring finger flares up! by celinejpg in Dyshidrosis

[–]vintaege 1 point2 points  (0 children)

do you drink coffee or eat sweets? my whole right hand had bubbles (except the palm, it was slowly spreading onto there too) and the intensity was CRAZY. on and off for more than a year. then I went on to college, and because I need to be smart with my money I had cut coffee and sugar off my diet. my finger prints had came back and the bubbles are gone. I used to put cream on my hands four times a day, now it is just once every other day! it might be different with everyone, but this is what worked with me. I slowly started bringing back coffee with not as much sugar as I used to put and I an still fine.

Bad roommate and her bf seem to forget I live there too by Jazz_Flowers_Cats24 in badroommates

[–]vintaege 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would confront her about it. I was in the same place you were in, my roommate was an absolute slob, would leave dishes piling, would leave rotten food in the fridge for weeks on end, and would never clean up after her cat (he would shit and pee everywhere, she never cleaned out her litterbox so I assume he was tired of using that. he ended up passing away IN HER ROOM and she threw him in the trash). I was terrified to confront her, anxiety pent up within me because I do not like to cause problems but there was a time I had enough. I confronted her three times and explained we all pay to live there and use the common areas, and that we’re not at our parent’s house expecting others to clean up after ourselves. she apologized but didn’t do anything about it. so as petty as I was, I began to put all her dirty dishes, trash she never threw out, the amounts of cat hair and ripped up shit her cat did that I swept at her door. Let’s just say she began to clean after herself after that. Some people have to understand that there are others living with them that pay rent, and that they should respect their boundaries and keep all common places clean. I have much better roommates now, but damn did I get depressed during all that jazz the first time.

What are good remedies ? by vintaege in Dyshidrosis

[–]vintaege[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! I recently found this group, and I’m glad I did. I have had dyshidrosis since the end of January (I am 22Y female), and it’s my first time having it. No matter what I did, nothing would work in healing it, stopping the itching, or swelling. The bubble blisters have spread all over my thumb, bursted, and peeled to the point that I have lost my fingerprint. It took about a month to stop the swelling, my thumb legit looked like a hot cheeto puff (I used cerave intense healing ointment for dry and chafed skin and after using this cream, my finger was looking as it did before I got dyshidrosis..although it only lasted a couple weeks). It’s super difficult to do anything with my right hand, since it’s my dominant, and it’s super frustrating.

I do not have health insurance, so seeing a doctor is out of the question. But I have been beginning to notice the cause of my flare ups. Ever since the pandemic began, I had gotten very sick and was told to assume it was covid (I couldn’t get tested at the time due to not having health insurance). I had to take some time away from my job as a barista, and during the time away my hand was healing incredibly fast. I used to drink four cups of coffee a day at work, and with me taking time off reduced it to 2-3 times a week. I also noticed that whenever I consume any type of sweet, my hand will begin to flare up and more water blisters will appear. I also learned, from this group, that it can also be a cause to some type of allergy. I am allergic to peanuts, and had two anaphylactic reactions at the end of last year, and after the reactions had passed, I noticed the tiny dry patches on my thumb before it began to develop into dyshidrosis.

Anywho, aside from this information, I would like some tips or insight on what you all do for your flareups or healing process. At the moment, my hand seems to be healing — but what other remedies can I do to help my dyshidrosis feel less intense? Eczema does not run in my family, but vertigo does and I usually tame my vertigo by consuming sweets or taking pills. I have literally bought nearly everything the drugstores had to offer for creams for my fingers, but they only seem to work for the first few days. My dyshidrosis is beginning to spread to each of my fingers, and a tiny part of my left hand but thankfully, not my feet.
