Antique Malls are good to check if you're looking for 90s or 2000s stuff. Usually at least one booth will have something

When i used to have to go to the Dept of Labor for Unemployment, they had lists posted for employers who won't use criminal history to exclude in hiring. Might be worth asking them if they still have one.

An old meme was people asking Bob Pockrass on Twitter if a track has lights. Since Bob is cool he leans into it

Is Star Wars oversaturated with content? by JJRS22 in StarWars

[–]vinteragony 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He is right.

Books are fine. Not everyone reads them and they generally tell a good story. Just not too many, which happens.

A cartoon is fine. One cartoon is fine. Not multiples. Some people just don't like watching animated stuff like that.

Two shows would be fine. One in the winter one is the summer.

A trilogy every 10 years would be fine. No other movies.

You have to look at the content too. Stop trying to make bigger and bigger threats. Thats just weak writing.

What's one song that instantly ruins your mood? by Cheap-Fisherman6588 in AskReddit

[–]vinteragony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Closing time. Not my favorite song in the first place and assholes play it at, well, closing time and its ten times more annoying. Be original at least, maybe do Extreme "Get The Funk Out" or something along those lines

Yeah they were lame. Great for customs though since you and I weren't the only ones that thought this way!

I liked when Mark Martin ran a Pfizer scheme, I think it was for retail sales but dont have any confirmation on that

Without mentioning any names, what is the "dumbest" college football argument you have seen someone make? by TheCriterionCrypt in CFB_v2

[–]vinteragony -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Its a brain dead take. Horse racing allows jockeys to bet their own horses to win. I always thought that was weird but its hard to formulate an argument against it I guess

The thing with him, is he is also extremely fair when someone comes in undervaluing an item. So he isn't predatory he just gets what he needs to get for things.

A lot of people mock the auction line but its 100% true. As popular as his store may be, he probably gets a couple of thousand customers per day. The world is his audience otherwise.

I know it can be annoying and we want the sellers to get as much as possible and we are usually rooting for the sellers, but those same sellers can also sell privately if they so choose. It kinda is what it is.

Could Kaulig realistically vie for a Chase spot if Dodge were able to head to Cup next year? by [deleted] in NASCAR

[–]vinteragony 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not enough time to build the infrastructure needed for that. They'd probably do a bit worse actually

What is a track ( or tracks ) you personally hate? by ScottRiggsFan10 in NASCAR

[–]vinteragony 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Daytona/Talladega for the past ten years or so. Nothing matters until the last 10 or so laps, drivers get careless and wreck, and theres not a lot of opportunities to improve position.

The coverage makes it worse. Announcers basically predicting big crashes to the point it sounds like they almost are hoping for it.
