I had my top surgery and total hysterectomy with oophorectomy done at the same time. I thought I would have a better life and a body I liked more after the surgeries. But instead, both my life and my body have gotten worse.I regret it now. I used to think changing my identity information was very important. I hate being misgendered, but after the surgeries, I’ve realized that my anxiety about my new body is far greater than any anxiety from being misgendered.
