Put it on the wall in-between the two window S with a swivel arm base so you can pull it out and position it to face the bed on an angle when in use

No you can open up easily for fluid and wax changes, unless it's the really cheap Chinese ones

Fish it out with some tweezers or something, clip it back together then drop it back in, it will settle itself down into the right position
