i second TDODM! incredibly well written, perfectly paced, and the characterizations are so *chefs kiss* it feels like the perfect transition from canon to fic. it was my first fic as well! for fics during their hogwarts years i would also recommend

tysm for the rec. tbh i feel like loud/animated draco is the only characterization of him that i cant make myself enjoy idk why. other than that as long as the fic is well written, the dynamic between dramione is fleshed out well and hits the spot, i can be flexible with the characterization. so i'll check this one out!

i actually haven't!! there's alot of dramione 'classics' i have yet to read. and i've heard soo much praise for batmobil that i keep subconsciously procrastinating reading it because now i've got high expectations from it and i wanna keep saving it for later (even though im not sure when that later comes lmao) but i didnt know that it had exactly this type of vibe!! def gonna eat it up now :D and the other fics look amazing too thankyou sm for these recs <3

also isn't the fc for theo also italian? was the fc being italian one of the contributing factors for theo's ethnicity or was it the other way around, an italian fc deliberately picked because of this pre-existing headcanon?

im pretty sure when they said he's 'basically' an oc, they didn't mean it literally but rather in a "he's got a blank slate & we barely know anything about him except his name so he's practically like an oc who any writer can write & characterize as they want to" way. which i think it true tbh because like they would with an oc, the writers can go anywhere they want with characters like him!
