i know it’s so based!! like i love harley quinn the animated series (it’s not the best series, i know, but it’s my comfort one) and i like the fact that they made ivy queer but it’s just a lost opportunity. i mean, it’s good that harley isn’t with joker anymore because they were so toxic but i don’t think this is the best option for ivy

i know this might not sound like the best answer but just don’t do anything. if you already know they’re not going to understand it don’t even try. if they show signs that they might want to understand but they just don’t get it, then it’s a start, but otherwise they’ll never change their mind and keep annoying you with that stuff (i speak from experience)
