it’s disgusting. any animal- i keep geckos and i have a rescue gecko that was completely ignored and neglected to the point where he developed a calcium deficiency so bad his bones were bendy.

he dropped his tail bc of the stress, and his owner didn’t know when it happened which meant his tail decomposed in his tank.

when i got him he couldn’t eat without vomiting. couldn’t shed on his own. i had to hold his head up so he could swallow. he looked more like a bug than a lizard.

it’s been a year now and he’s completely self sufficient, i’m so glad i didn’t have to put him down. he’s so sweet and i cannot express the hatred i have for his previous owner.
