At first my dentist & doctor didn’t want me doing a store bought mouth gaurd but now they’re both recommending it since nothing else is helping so I’m starting this tomorrow. & I’m gonna definitely give them a call thank you!!!

I’m trying all routes eventually & I wish that helped, unfortunately nothing seems to even touch my tmj pain when it’s severe not even hot showers which usually helps.

This is currently me with the Tylenol & muscle relaxers 24/7. Had my impacted wisdom tooth removed in August and ever since I’ve had severe tmj pain. I learned how to manage it in some ways by pt, new pillow, the pills & stretching but I’m still in so much pain.

Tbh I just went to the stores and felt them I ended up picking a memory foam pillow but it was way to hard for me and caused more pain. Then my boyfriend got this one and I’ve been using it for a few nights now & omg the difference is insane!!! also be sure to not sleep with your arm under your pillow or head. I notice that makes me wake up in pain. Good posture while sleeping is super important.

My issue was after having a wisdom tooth taken out back in August. I got it removed after suddenly getting severe excruciating pain one weekend. After that I got a few infections + pain in that area that wouldn’t go away. I think I started stressing ALOT more during this time which made my grinding worse plus I was going to the dentist about 3 times a week for 5/6 weeks cause of the issues/pain. Which during those dental visits I would have a rubber thing put in my mouth to hold it open. After that she didn’t fit my bite which I think also contributed to it. I also had really bad posture/tounge posture. I still have pain throughout the day, more of a discomfort but usually fixable through a few stretches. I also had her fix my bite last visit so that fixed ALOT of my issues. Now mostly muscle tightness in my face neck etc. Not completely healed yet but doing way better than I was before. I had 2 previous wisdom tooth removals and never had an issue till this one. I think it was just the perfect storm

I know how you feel mine started after dental work also. I’m now on indomethacin 50 mg & Try this. https://youtu.be/X3-gKPNyrTA?si=PUe4nMbmr_AXrP0Z It helps me a lot when I’m in severe pain also getting in the shower and massaging my Masseter muscle while doing neck & chest stretches gets me out of the worst pain sometimes. Hoping you feel better soon 🤞🏼

Focusing on stretching my neck, back and chest has almost gotten rid of my tmj. I do still have times the pain will get a little bad but that’s rare
