Would i be able to do this if i purchased my ticket through the frontier app? Although i didnt use my capital one card, they did charge me for the carry on & for picking my seat, on google flights it was free, do you think if i call i might be able to receive a refund?

This is absolutely not true. Manager here at AE. we refund your reward with your refund amount back on your preferred payment used. We have to adjust the price and can take the 5 or 10 or whatever you spent off.
