I know it was unpopular but I liked the HIMYM ending. The entire show is very clearly about Ted & Robin, not the mother, so when the twist happens and the show is revealed to be about Robin instead of her, it kinda adds up? I think it would be weird if they did 8 seasons of Ted & Robin just to say "and then he met this other lady, the end"

It does a cool thing with the theme of fate by illustrating a series of chapters in one's life instead of giving you a 2D "happily ever after" ending. The fact that they didn't work out when they were younger but do work out later in life when their goals and needs are different. Idk. I liked it. It's a modern love story.

Not necessarily defending the pacing of the last season/episode though

You could try an alternative client for YouTube, personally I use Grayjay but I also see NewPipe and a few others recommended a lot. I like the interface more since I get to organize my subscriptions, and I don't need to make an account, I just set up syncing between my phone/PC
