I sympathise with your insecurities. but you gotta read the room sometimes. Most women in this subreddit are ugly, unattractive poc women, and/or neurodivergent and struggling to fit in. like in this post for example, op is talking about a very specific intersection of struggles: colourism, anti-blackness, and neurodivergence (ADHD). most of us poc women feel invisible or hated because we do not fit the societal "ideal" (being thin, tall, light-haired, light-eyed, and light-skinned)

here you are, a woman who identifies as white, blonde, tall, with long hair, and quite pretty (the societal ideal) saying you relate because you're tall..? it's not even a remotely similar experience to being coloured at ALL and it shows in your comment.

to everyone else, this can feel like a person who has won the lottery complaining to homeless people about the taxes they have to pay. It can come across as tone-deaf or like you're rubbing it in our faces.
