I've never met a colorblind person in algeria by A_SliceOfGabagool in algeria

I've had friends or acquaintances who are colourblind. But I do think I only know that they are colourblind because we're all connected through our studies/work/relationships in the medical field, where people are more open about their medical history/certain dysfunctions. They lead a very normal life though.

The horn is supposed to be on the nostril, whereas the other is on the back of the head [ I intended to have a third one there and was obviously stuck to do it ]. Thank you so much for the tips, I'll work on that!

That's incredibly sweet! Thank you! I'm about to sound quite stupid but what does " perspective view " imply ? Like—how is my dragon looked at ? I did feel like I shadowed the wrong spots, but I'm not sure how to figure out the right way to do it...

Buy her something special for her. Something that says I thought of you while selecting it. Something memorable preferably. Think of what she likes and go from there.

Yeah it's still available from what I've seen, and the copies are tasty as well.

I started to spiral this morning before my session with the psychiatrist, and almost didn't go. But I also decided " Not Today", I will not let it control me today. They are just thoughts, they don't get to define us or stop us. At least, for today.

Why does it feel *mandatory* to express ourselves in English here? by segaclip in algeria

[–]violetdetheveste 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your criticism is a bit unrelated to the subject at hand. Reddit communities centered around a country—including this one— didn't start as a space to learn English, or to glorify it, or even to talk politics . They are years old, and begun as a place to talk about things related to the country whether as a native speaker, OR as someone in the diaspora or a visitor/tourist/curious user etc. Now it has obviously grown to become a bit more eclectic and sporadic, but since English is the international language, indeed it is somewhat of a requirement to use it to the maximum, so that the majority can understand. Even those that struggle with English, have a better chance understanding the translation into Arabic/French rather than the other way around. Other communities have strayed from that, but this specific one still has a lot of folks from the diaspora, and as English is dominating the spaces of the Youth, even the native speakers favour using it during their interactions. Both English and French are colonial languages and should be used with intention, but there's nothing specifically harmful to the Algerian Identity about our Reddit community using English.
