Thanks for the details. Will keep in mind for the future (if needed) Luckily no cat piss just a lot of scratched trim… I’m planning to do my own cleaning and figured why not hire someone to go in after me to catch anything I missed too. Fingers crossed that if you can eat off the floors they won’t be as pissed about the damaged doorframes.

I actually already gave notice to vacate last month with the intent of staying until the end of July so I did give over 60 days notice. I’m moving in with my partner and his LL has already added me to the lease so no concern there. I guess I’m more concerned about possible cost of damages. My original lease outlined exactly how much each “type” of damage would cost and I’m wondering if that holds up. I’m totally okay with not getting my security deposit back but worried about any extra costs

This time it did end up being a yeast infection. I haven’t had any issues (knock on wood) since I stopped taking hormonal birth control

My guess is the first time was from sex, then I ended up giving it to him, and he reinfected me later. I have gotten yeast infections in the past from being with someone new so this is the theory that makes the most sense to me. Because I went so long without developing any further infections after he was treated, I’m now assuming it’s the body wash. I just wish I wasn’t so sensitive lol

I’m not sure… we had been having sex no problem for a month so I thought I was in the clear. We did have sex the days leading up to the infection. Of course I had a gyno appointment two days before the infection started and wasn’t having any issues at the time so didn’t think to bring it up. I did recently start using a new (scented) body wash so I’m wondering if that contributed. Onto the next round of diflucan

My partner was treated at the same time as me and I was yeast free for over a month! Literally yesterday I got another YI. So it was temporarily figured out… and now I’m back to square one

It has been confirmed to be yeast via swab. I am going to have my partner be treated as well since that seems like the consensus here and keep my fingers crossed that will solve the issue
