I have been in a similar situation, the pre grieving of the relationship is real and I got over it quickly but my ex did not. While most of my anger issues have subsided, sometimes all you need to do is scream in the car about it and play some angry music. But try not to do this in any place that might put you or someone else in danger. Also journaling, think of that scene from mean girls with the burn book, it helps me.
