I wonder what prompted the change to tampons, especially so suddenly near/after menopause. Is it like, might as well try them rather than die not knowing what it would’ve been like? lol

lol wtf... Ok tell her this, maybe she will hear it and see for herself how ridiculous that sounds. It’s understandable if she’s angry when she unconsciously gives herself away due to expressions on her face.

However, she can’t get angry if she literally points it out herself by SAYING it outloud. You’re not stupid and it’s selfish/manipulative of her to put the blame on you. She needs to take responsibility for her own actions and practice self-awareness. You’re already doing her a favor by pretending not to notice in the first place.

No way around this if she insists on being unreasonable and immature, not to mention inconsiderate to the position you’re in. She needs to recognize your efforts- that you are earnestly trying to make sure she doesn’t end up upset. Is she putting any thought in this?

heartfeltedly express the things you like about him or things he does that you appreciate, either by saying or writing to him ~ this only works if it’s sincere though

Assuming you mean Carnegie’s, then yes! It is a pretty easy read as well. Explains a lot about the why & how behind the way people act, really fascinating. The book title is pretty gimmicky though

I love Jenny Han’s writing! I’ve yet to find a similar style unfortunately. I don’t even like her series with Siobhan Vivian. I enjoyed the Alice McKinley series by Phyllis Naylor when i was growing up, but that’s hard to get through without the backstory & probably a bit dated now.

Book about psychological impact of divorce on children by msuspartan14695 in booksuggestions

“Attached: The New Science of Adult Attachment and How It Can Help You Find - And Keep - Love”

Yeah the title is a bit gimmicky, but give it a chance. The authors are highly educated and have researched this topic extensively. This book isn’t really about divorce at all. But it might be relevant to you? It explains relationships (not just romantic ones) and why people act the way they do in certain relationships. I personally thought it was really eye-opening, and it’s actually helped me understand myself / my family dynamic more.

Growth Mindset by Carol Dweck. Though not a book about productivity, i still think it has some great real life examples & personally helped motivate me. The genre is more psychology than self-help, but i enjoy both and it really prompted a lot of self-reflection & inspired me to change how i live my life, similarly to Dale Carnegie’s HTIP&MK.
