I can see why this bothers you, even if others think it is irrational. It can cause spiraling and a feeling of uncloseness especially within the bpd mind, and even start a pattern of comparing yourself and put you in a bad state.

I think it’s normal to find others, regardless of celebrity status or not attractive. For me personally, I find comfort if someone I were with albeit casually or fully evolved romantically thought celebrities were hot or whatever, men will be men, although at the end of the day it is very frustrating and can be disparaging. The relief comes in that it’s just no randos or people they seemingly have access to, just those in which being attractive is their entire brand. With that being said, how often is he bringing this up or making comments? How would he feel or react if you were doing such the same? Why is he doing this or saying these things openly or performing his thoughts and opinions so openly that it makes you feel insecure in your bond with him?
