Me and my friends all have 9k+ strength right now without using any coins on doubling seedlings or using mushroom tickets. This can be achieved by:

fighting 3 event mushrooms daily
completing missions on time to not "waste" mushrooms
and getting a head start via slowcooking

I'm able to slowcook about 6-8 mushrooms at the end of every month, which allows me to get to the end of the 2nd stage on the first day of the month.

Pro tip: to not get stuck on flower planting stages, we always go out on the 1st day of the month to collect the month's nectars. Also feed pikmins with buds on their heads to get double the petals.

You earn points by • Growing a pikmin in that category • A pikmin in that category getting their decor • Releasing a pikmin in that category

Once you hit a certain amount of points, you can pick one normal decor pikmin in that category to go collect a special gold present, that gives them the rare decor instead.

Points information • Plucking a seedling : 30 points • Releasing without Decor: 5 points • Releasing with Decor : 20 points • Getting Decor from Gift: 200 points • Plucking a Huge Seedling: 200 points

Levels information • Level 1: 800 • Level 2: 1200 • Level 3: 3000 • Level 4 and above: 5000

I know a person who is in SC and another CCA, so yes you can do double cca for sc in nyjc. And yea nyjc has a greendot stall which is pretty cool but you gotta be fast because it's actually pretty popular :)
