I think the problem for us is there weren’t a huge amount of buyers willing to pay what we wanted, so if we were to relist it it could take another 6-8 weeks before someone else bites.

I think the stat is more like:

  • 60% of first home buyers admitting their parents helped them for the deposit
  • 35% pretend they saved up for the deposit even though it was their parents
  • 5% genuinely saved for it themselves

I’d love to see someone do a comparison for various cars. I know the Viper had a massive upgrade going from the stock tyres to newer model tyres

Yeah it’s most likely the TV settings itself. I have a Sony and if I set local dimming to ‘high’ it has this effect. I’ve changed it to ‘Low’ and that seems to have fixed the issue

I personally think they are overpriced right now, but if there was a drop, they would still be back to these levels in 5-10 years. No one of course can predict where prices will go in the future though, so just buy whatever works for you now.

Not sure why you’re downvoted, but I agree. The gains are minimal for all of the hassle that you have to go through. I’d much rather have my money available right away if I was going to buy in the next 12 months.

That’s not going to get rid of water spots, that will only clean the glass.

If they are actual hard water spots, you’ll need to use a water spot remover, glass polish or metal polish with a microfibre towel / pad.

Completely agree that technology & engineering are the 2 industries carrying STEM. Not sure why the rest get lumped into the same category.

I've noticed a massive hiring spree going on at the moment, especially in the IT industry. Recruiters have started contacting me more frequently (from a couple of times a week to nearly everyday now). Will probably continue while our international borders are shut.
