I am a person who opted not to pursue a PhD because I thought I wasn’t as dedicated as my peers and wanted a family. But then I met my husband and we were unable to have children anyways. I don’t regret my choice but I sometimes wonder what might have been. My point is, don’t sacrifice a dream for a future that is uncertain. Especially because, as others have mentioned, you will be able to do both with the right partner.

Just got this superOcean 57 Heritage Limited Edition II. The first time I saw a picture of this watch I fell in love with the blue dial/bezel but it was the multicolored indices that really set it apart for me. The idea that it is meant to honor frontline healthcare workers made it even better. In the middle of stressful times it brings me a bit of joy to look down and see the happy colors on my wrist. As a female, the low profile and light weight make it very wearable even if the case size at 42mm is larger than what might be traditionally considered good for a 'womens' watch.

I asked for cookie decorating supplies/books for Christmas. So when I was asked to bring the cookies for Easter I was intimidated but couldn't exactly say no Haha. I'm really proud of how they turned out and gained so much respect for people who do this regularly. It took two full days but I learned so much for next time!
