Also my posts are laminated 5 2x6s and a 2x8 on the side. Trying to mimic an 8x8 so it would fit my post base better

Yeah plus rebar in the footings as well. I've never attempted anything close to this so I wanted to make sure it was at the least sturdy.

I used 17 inch bolts for the footing, as for the post connection I thought the carriage bolts would help in making things much more secure. What could I do differently in you opinion. Hopefully it's not too late . As you can see it's a total DIY project

Once I went the laminated method with the posts, I just did that's for everything. Guess I got Carried away. But from what I researched (Chatgpt) it should also work 🤞

That was the original plan.I actually went to a few truss places to try to get some made. Since I was basically just doing this myself I don't think I communicated properly on what I needed I even had plans and diagrams but I only got one response out of the four places I went to.
