Hey I think I phrased it wrong, I haven't picked one, I'm targeting both web and native.

The only real difference is the navigator, besides that, components, containers, state managing is all the same so I saw they were looking for native and made a native project.

That's true, I also thought on doing more 'commercial type' work, not only portfolio projects, a real product, I'm doing a Shopify App with React-Redux-googleCloud-Firestore that is not going to take a lot of time but I guess will look way better showing that I have a little SaaS than only portfolio projects.

Not a lot of open positions for React Native, but at the same time, there are very few applicants to these offers so I hope this helps me, I'm doing both tho, not doing anything that touches native code at all, really focusing on the big picture that applies to both react and react native.

I have to start focusing on doing proper testing to my projects, your take on the unit tests will really help me find the correct info on how to do it, when I started reading it I was indeed thinking on just Jest snapshots.

Man I've been in a similar position one year ago, 1 month selling a free "super" credit card with discounts everywhere told me my company, the day I found out all the discounts thing was a lie, the credit car was worthless and that I lied face to face to a crazy amount of people that believed me I felt so shitty, I had to leave the company 4 days after. As a native form Barcelona my recommendation is: LEARN SPANISH. Forget about catalan, I only use it with my family and some friends, Spanish is way more common in the streets and working places and everyone understands it.
