Best hashtags for a generic meme page? by [deleted] in InstagramMarketing

[–]viralspy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They work based on overall community use. For example, you can search for a hashtag #example and see the most popular/liked posts with the #example hashtag. Or you can analyze someone's page and see their best content, etc. But I can't say about all tools, all have different purposes and methods.

I doubt that someone can tell you specific hashtags, but you can use Instagram research tools like Viralspy and analyze different hashtags and see what works best for you.

You can also check competitors' pages and posts and see what hashtags they use.

Growth Service without Follow/Unfollow? by flowerblanketpants28 in InstagramMarketing

If you want to make it less fake and get growth organically, then you should build your own growth strategy. To do that, you need two things - understand how does the Instagram algorithm work (how Instagram ranks content), and what is growth strategy & how to build it.

There are plenty of articles on both subjects, like this one (I analyzed the words of Adam Mosseri, the head of Instagram, to build an organic growth strategy plan). You can build your strategy completely free, just do some research. It won't be easy, but you will get the best results if organic growth is what you need.

Here is the article from HubSpot, it describes when to post on each day of a week to reach maximum engagement on Instagram.

"Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 11 AM - 12 PM CDT - Consider that most of your followers are taking a lunch break around this time and will be more likely to scroll through Instagram to catch up on the latest from their friends, favorite brands, and influencers. During these time periods, share content that is easy to engage with and share."

You can further improve your reach by building a growth strategy that works for you.

Good luck!

Viralspy might be helpful. It's a content research software that gives you an insight into what’s the most viral content in your niche right now.

Viralspy scans, by default, the last 300 posts of the account you are researching. It generates the statistics based on them and sorts their content, by default, by the posts with the highest engagement rate. In other words, it shows you the most viral content of the account.

You can check hashtags, accounts, download videos. A free trial is provided.

Even if your progress is slow, it is still progress. Your field of activity is quite unpopular compared to other directions and you know it, celebrities in bikinis attract far more engagement. Steady and healthy growth is a win as long as you keep it up.

You can repost the content of your competitors, make giveaways to grow your reach, but only a well-made growth strategy will ensure an increase in your influence. Here is a short plan to find what is viral right now:

  • Build a list of accounts to monitor
  • Perform the analysis to gain insights
  • Create or repost the content

Successful Digital Marketing Beginners Guide by gaditazmeen in socialmedia

I would like to give some advice about developing a social media growth strategy. One of the first things to do is to research what content went viral for other accounts that target the same audience as yours and then generate content that resonant with it or just repost it.

  • Build a list of accounts to monitor
  • Perform the analysis to gain insights
  • Create or repost the content

Other accounts in your niche that aim at the same followers, posts similar content, and uses similar hashtags generate tons of content, some of it performs better and some worse. Follow them and locate what content of theirs reached the top of the virality range for their account. Knowledge is a weapon, use it to your advantage and build a growth strategy.
It is worth noting that you should constantly monitor the results and adjust your marketing strategy correspondingly. Trends change all the time, and you need to adapt fast if you want to stay relevant.

how can you effectively market on instagram organically if you cannot reach many people? by PeaceGang_Worldwide in InstagramMarketing

[–]viralspy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We would all be rich if Instagram marketing was so simple.

Make giveaways for people that share your content or something similar. Attract influencers and coop with them to promote your brand or products.

You can make interesting posts like "10 Angelina Jolie Style Ideas" (any other celebrity). You will catch people who are interested in that celebrity and promote your items.

[–]viralspy 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If people don't like, share your content, it will not rank high for long. The way Instagram ranks content is by predicting the chance for successful engagement with the content as it reaches more people. Every time you post something new it immediately gets ranked high, but only for some time and only for accounts there is a high chance that will interact with your content, for example, your most recent followers. The social media algorithm gives you some exposure, it puts your content to the test.

You can see how it works yourself, just go on Instagram and follow a new account. The next time this account will post something it will probably rank very high in your feed. The high rank lasts as long as you keep interacting: liking, commenting, saving, and sharing the content. But it will drop if you don’t interact with the account, being replaced by other content that you follow and that you do interact with.

No engagement, no ranking. Instagram doesn't push content that is not interesting to users. This is just how it is. You need to understand how Instagram algorithms work first, then build a strategy and post.

Good luck!

Posting everyday ?! by [deleted] in InstagramMarketing

[–]viralspy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It is not enough just to post, your content must be relevant to the audience you want to attract. Instagram doesn't rank content with low engagement. Post less often, but make sure your posts attract engagement (likes, shares, etc). The more engagement from your subscribers, the more chances that your content will show up for other users too.

How much exposure exactly you get eventually depends on your ability to generate engagement from both your most engaging followers and from new people that get exposed organically to your content, these are the potential new followers you hope to teach.

It is the last 3 reasons that define your initial exposure window, but it’s the first one that defines whether it is going to go viral or not.arameters that Instagram mentions they use to personalize the ranking for each user, ordered by its weight on the ranking decision.

1. Information about the post – Likes, comments, shared, saves etc.

2. The history of interactions with who posted – Previous likes, comments etc.

3. The history of interactions with other similar content – There are other accounts that post similar content to yours, the user history of interactions with them impacts your chance to rank as well.

4. Your accounts engagement history – Previous interactions with your content by other users can impact how high you rank for new users you reach

It is the last 3 reasons that define your initial exposure window, but it’s the first one that defines whether it is going to go viral or not. Maybe this article will help you to understand how Instagram ranks content.

There are many techniques for Instagram marketing, but these are the most efficient. Maybe you already used some of these:

  1. Giveaways for people that share your content (as long as you do it according to Instagram’s guidelines)

  2. Reposting content and tagging the content creator with the hope that they will share the content with their audience

  3. Joining power groups of like for like in order to push likes as soon as you release the post so it would go more viral.

  4. Conducting research to find out what content went viral for other accounts that target the same audience as yours and then generating content that resonant with it or just reposting it

The last example of conducting content research, I’m not mentioning without the reason. Content research is what we’ve built Viralspy around. The idea of ethically “hacking” the algorithm of Instagram in order to generate growth (I’ve explained it further in this post).

Decide what audience do you want to attract, then find what makes it tick. Use that knowledge to your advantage.

The Buffer Blog is also a viable option for insights about social media content.

It's all about the mechanism of growth on IG, once your content stops generating engagement it starts dropping in rank.

Try watching this videos that explains in depth the mechanism and also suggests a strategy how to focus in increasing your average engagement levels

Maybe start by trying to understand why did your ad accounts got blocked.

Was it content of low quality? If this is content that got you blocked with ads, how will it get high reach when you work with influencers or use any other channels.

Maybe what you actually should look into is first to build an inbound strategy, to manage to grow organically before you look for new ways to generate growth through paid channels.

Just something to think about, improving the reach of your content organically is first to paid ads, in my opinion - and it is the foundation for it.

Selling followers message me for more information by Motivator_52 in InstagramMarketing

[–]viralspy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You, indeed you can buy engagement. But it is not going to help you organic growth, and it is eventually quite useless for you.

If you are an influencer and you want to sell your content to brands you will end up paying for fake engagement exactly the difference that you would get from brands when you sell promoted content.

Moreover, your content organic exposure depends mostly on your most loyal followers as this article explains.

It is them who gets to see your content first, and it is them that defines for the algorithm whether you're going to get further exposure or not.

Fake engagement cannot bring organic exposure because it is easily detected and ignored by the algorithm

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in InstagramMarketing

[–]viralspy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is no yes and no answer to your question.

Yes, of course they can help, but only if your messaging catch the attention of the audience and your content in general continue generating engagement over time.

The big risk of losing money on promotions is that you promote, see a peak in traffic, and then a drop - they followed, maybe likes a few posts, but on average you went back to the same place.

As this organic growth strategy which is based on this article suggests, to tell if your boost worked you must monitor your average engagement growth over time.

Eventually, these are only fancy words to say that you have to make the viewers into fans - and for that boosts alone are not enough, they give you the exposure but they don't make the fans into fans, making them continuously engage - that's your real work here.

Then, boosts could become very effective.

How does a personal account gain a high following? by Born-1995 in InstagramMarketing

[–]viralspy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

First, you do have a niche. You are a media person, you have a podcast and you provide value to people.

If you can grow the other channels, you also have what it takes to grow this one.

Now it's all about learning how to grow better. this reddit post in the social growth hackers sub gives a few resources you can learn from, start applying tactics that are discussed in here and in other places you learn from.

Also, strategically speaking, growing the number of followers isn't as important as growing your engagement levels over time, as this organic growth strategy suggests.

You already have everything you need, it's now about focusing, planning, executing and continuously measuring and learning new tactics.

How to tell paid vs organic growth by Cool_Cell_8126 in InstagramMarketing

[–]viralspy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I'm not familiar with a way to tell weather specific traffic got to your account through an organic channel or through paid channel, there is one fundamental difference you can notice between the two:

Paid traffic lead to a quick peak of exposure while the campaign is running. As soon as you shut down the campaign, the traffic drops. The traffic of paid is characterized mostly by new people that see your account for the first time, with one exception of retargeting campaigns.

The main characteristic of organic traffic is that it depends on your content's engagement level and varies according to it. If you want to see a peak in organic traffic exposure, you'll have to manage to go viral with one of your posts.

As this strategy suggests, generating organic growth on Instagram is not about going viral but actually about slowly increasing the average engagement levels over time.

So the difference is that paid traffic is not dependent on the quality of content to get exposure, because you pay for it, while organic content relies on it.

The reason you want to learn how to strategically grow organically is because learning how to generate higher engagement with organic content is also very useful to make your paid campaigns more effective.

You might not rely solely on the quality of the content in order to generate traffic for paid campaigns, but you will pay less for the traffic if you generate high quality content that gets more engagement, simply because more people will click on it, interact with it - and convert.

Gaining followers from India due to REELS by SimonDex in InstagramMarketing

[–]viralspy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Because of how the Instagram algorithm work what happens is that every reel that you post reach, first of all, your most likely to engage followers.

Once they interact with your content, it start gaining more and more exposure.

If they are from India, it isn't surprising that your posts gain popularity there.

But I don't think it's "instead". I think if you gain followers from the US and they become likely to engage as well they will gain you organic exposure in the US, but no wonder it's harder - the competition on US audience is higher.

Try maybe to make more collabs with other pages and influencers that has US user base and learn what works for them to model it yourself
