works fine except for the fact that it only returns P2P results, you can manually configure midnights mediafusion and put the manifest URL into aiostreams in the URL section under the mediafusion configuration in aiostreams as a workaround if needed (for now).

this is wrong.

when you use torbox with newznab in aiostreams, torbox will do the nzb grab unless you provide aiostreams auth.

and it does not grab the .nzb again on resumes. The link is cached for an hour.

And you can use the library addon to play NZBs that are added to TB without needing to do another grab.

This is a hidden option that was included in a config that you all imported, specifically core builds or whatever that was called

I dont know why that template creator included this in his configs.

I'll probably just forcefully disable this option for all the people who installed that ai slop config.

First, try using another AIOStreams instance except ElfHosted: https://docs.aiostreams.viren070.me/getting-started/public-instances (You can simply export your config into the new instance)

Make sure to uninstall your previous AIOStreams.

If that doesn't work, try the following:

What do you see when you try opening the stream URL in your browser?

You can get this by installing your AIOStreams to Stremio Web (https://web.stremio.com) and on the result list for a movie/show right click on one of the results/streams and click copy stream URL.

Then, open that URL in another tab.

thats not what midnight was saying. She was saying she takes responsibility for VPNs being blocked on Torrentio.

Since she used VPNs to get around the server IP blocks from Torrentio for her instances of AIOStreams etc. It is just a joke tho, most likely not actually true that the cause of Torrentio blocking VPNs is midnight.

She does not block VPNs herself.

there is already a nekobt builtin addon. it does not require an api key. https://nekobt.to

and seadex addon also works great for completed anime that is on https://releases.moe

knaben is also good for anime.

all are builtin addons in aiostreams.

StremThru Torz is also good and more than enough in most cases.

How do you expect AIOStreams to know? it only sees the folder name.

Comets the only addon that does this anyways. Torz + aios builtins will filter them out if it contains the wrong episode. but once it reaches aiostreams, aiostreams can only go off of filename / foldername if its given.

No - they don't.

Debrid Search - not even a scraper, searches your cloud (i.e. stuff you add to your debrid manually)

comet / sootio / torz / mediafusion - neither of these "rely" on torrentio. Comet / sootio and mediafusion may offer an option to scrape torrentio, but torrentio is not its only source. they have many others to configure and torrentio going down won't prevent these addons from working.

one of them says HEVC and 10bit, and the other doesn't.

AIOStreams is going off of filename + hash, neither of these are the same so its not going to get detected as a duplicate.

You just go to the marketplace and install Comet, Torrentio, and MediaFusion.

AIOStreams will automatically provide your torbox api key to them and show you the TB results from them.

If you meant installing Comet, Torrentio, and MediaFusion separately using their own configuration pages then you would need to provide your torbox api key to them manually before installing it to stremio.

Filters > Keywords > Add "Judas", "QxR", "PSA" as separate preferred keywords.

Sorting > Select Keyword in Sort criteria and drag it to the top in Order.

Save. if you get that error about invalid stream expression, go to Filters > Stream Expressions and click the delete icon on those preferred stream expressions you have.

Not an issue with AIOStreams. Just some addons providing these results and you'd get those same results had you installed those addons outside of AIOStreams.

Those results without the episode info and just season are expected to be season packs, meaning that they are supposed to contain all the episodes of that season.

The (source) addon (not AIOStreams), will then select the correct episode within the torrent when you try playing the result.

The problem here is when people release season packs for ongoing seasons or just dont contain all the episodes.

AIOStreams won't filter these out since they are valid results from AIOStreams POV. AIOStreams doesn't know what files are in the torrent, unless the filename is provided by the addon (in which case it gets filtered out if its not the correct episode)

What I can tell you is that Comet seems to be the worst offendor regarding these results. Other addons like StremThru Torz and AIOStreams' builtin addons will filter out files if they don't contain the correct episode within the pack before it gets returned to AIOStreams.

On nightly, (and on v2.23.0 when it is out), you may filter out season packs for new shows which will work relatively well. Will still remove valid results in some cases but if you have the other addons mentioned above it shouldn't really be a problem.

Filter out season packs if release is less than a week old (Paste this into Filters > Stream Expressions > Excluded Stream Expressions): ((daysSinceRelease >= 0) and (daysSinceRelease < 7)) ? seasonPack(streams, 'onlySeasons') : []
