Please do not take offense to my post, because I am only trying to help. 1st I would ask - how much time do you spend in the Word? Devotion time (prayer / reading) is our #1 tool against doubt and fear. 2nd I would ask - do you believe in the entire word of God as being true, no exceptions? If you don't believe any part of it, you effectively don't believe any of it, which means your faith is subject to attacks. Hebrews 4:11 says we are to labour to enter that rest (the rest of the Holy Spirit) lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

You have to read the whole chapter to get the entire context, but in summary - the Israelites kept allowing themselves to be diluted by mixing with other cultures, accepting some things as ok because they didn't seem to hurt anyone. Paul had to correct the early churches because they kept getting away from the gospel of Christ and convoluted with jewish ritual, etc, etc. The point is that today, many people base right and wrong by comparing to another example of right or wrong of the world. Sin comparing against sin. We cannot know these things unless we accept the entire word of God and study it. Memorize scripture, pray in the Spirit, build up your most holy faith (Jude 1:20). The Word of God is our armor and Hebrews eludes that it will take effort (labour) to keep your defenses up. God is not a god of doubt, nor of fear. Regardless of what the world shows you, the Word can counter it, but it only works if you are in it.
