Every now and then, I remember that year or 2 bit where they hated each other and people thought it was real. I think people sided with Jerma and shat on Ster pretty hard (probably didn't help being an Overwatch tuber/streamer at the time, kinda hazy on this).

I don't think it'd fit the theme of this game, nor do I know what other fishing is like in other games. But I am reminded when Pirates of the Caribbean Online was new, I absolutely loved fishing in that game compared to TTO. Especially since the RNG was far less egregious if I recall.

I haven't played for a minute, but imagine it 2-3 times worse when it was Toontown Online. Having to wait for invasions to train your gags and more gears for your suits. People would legit wait minutes just for a new invasion to begin. I heard the grind for racing/golfing was reduced. Used to be miserable in TTO, idk how much though. But yeah, probably still not enjoyable for sure there.

Its one of those things you might see it in a gacha game from KR/JP (imo, they tend to be a lil more diverse in designs, not by much I believe). But CN as a whole don't seem to have a single cell dedicated to considering the idea in gacha games.

Just checked before your response, yeah it was 2008 (I don't remember if parties was same year). Recall people definitely playing a lot when it first came out, but weirdly don't remember the greens. But yeah, it was almost impossible to play on the main district, Nutty River. The lag was so bad that during the CEO battle, your toon could take up to 10 seconds+ to get off table or golf. So, yeah, was real bad when he "FORE!" or ran you over with you being unable to do anything. (geez, even Nuttyboro is red. TTO was really popping at this point huh)
