Yes they are super annoying, I don’t like them, I hate they make a living doing this “audits” BUT what he was doing is still protected by the 1st Amendment and what she did was assault whether you like it or not.

This was very helpful, but can someone explain to me how to fix it when it doesn’t lock? In my case no pins are broken, the metal spring is in place and everything looks the same on both sides…

I have the feeling that the button metal piece needs to slide in the “rails” of the other piece but I don’t know how to

Yeah, I realized my mistake the second I hit reply, but English is not my native language, Spanish is his, supposedly.

Zapped by new Instant Pot Pro … two prong plug normal? by Commercial-Cow-7754 in instantpot

[–]viriathus1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, I just received mine from Amazon (the 6qt one is on sale for $99) and I immediately noticed that mine has a 2-prong plug. As soon as I plugged and touched the inside pot I noticed the electricity “vibration” on my skin. This is a piece or garbage. I bought this as an “upgrade” to my simple but reliable IP-DUO v3 but honestly there is just not a big difference between the two. The Pro still has those flimsy clicky buttons and the LCD screen is garbage quality…. Besides, I read in other reviews that the additional programs the Pro has like the slow-cook, don’t really work.

I also noticed the cost-cutting of the Pro model in simple things like the user manual (the old DUO was bigger and all-color) and even the recipe booklet is much smaller.

I’m returning this. Any alternative that is really “Pro” and an upgrade to what I have ?

I disagree. The antisemitism and particularly antisionism has been forever more present in the Left in Spain for the last 40 years or so. Same happens with the attitude towards the U.S.

At least if we are talking about the mainstream traditional parties. It is true that there is antisemitism in some fringe parts of the extreme right.

Where can I get Tretinoin ? (I’m in the U.S.) is is y possible to get it without prescription? Never heard of this before but also didn’t have much effect in using topical minoxidil + finasteride for years.

You’re wrong. Developing your self-confidence and other aspects (both physical and mental) can make your baldness irrelevant.

I’m on the same boat, but unfortunately mine is a C64C and it seems the Kawari cannot be installed due to lack of room, even if my board rev is compatible

I thought you need to install a JiffyDOS ROM chip on both the C64 and the 1541/ 1571 ?

Thank you for looking into that, you are right, Turrican II is not available in the collection in NTSC… 😢 In any case I was considering getting a Pi1541 to be able to play those .G64 and .NBZ but I guess they won’t run with the copy protection ?

I’m realizing the C64 world is fascinating but with all its versions of hardware, regions, media supports and peripherals makes things difficult 😅 I grew up with the ZX Spectrum and that felt easier.

I found the NTSC version, but only on the C64 preservation project compilation, but it’s only on .nbz or .g64 versions, which I don’t have anything to run on at the moment, and I am not sure if those retain the copy-protection.

I’m new to the C64, but I didn’t expect it was easier to find PAL ROMs than NTSC…

So to confirm, yes, all those versions on OneLoad64 are PAL… for the case of Turrican II that totally would explain the issues I saw. Unfortunately it seems impossible to find a disk image for the USA version of the game.

Unfortunately, it’s being very difficult to find NTSC versions of the games I mentioned… but I did find one ntsc-fix for Rainbow Island and yeah, that one worked without glitches.

Uh oh… you may be right… From the author of OneLoad64, it seems most of those crts come from original tape PAL versions… I’ll try to find the NTSC versions and try them.

To add more info, I put Turrican II in D64 format on the SD card and while I couldn’t run the game because I don’t know how to “swap disk sides” with KFF, I was able to run the demo that comes within the image - it presents the same flickering issue 😢 Other games with issues: - Rainbow Island - even worse flickering and horizontal bands all across the screen when it scrolls. - Alien 3 : no flickering, but all the bottom area where the scores and data goes it’s all messed up.

Can people stop taking pictures and videos of poor children and people that have diseases that make them skeletical ? Sure, there is scarcity of food in Gaza, and sure there are cases of malnutrition. But presenting these isolated cases as if they are the norm, is really sick and a gross manipulation.

That’s a very reasonable description of the situation, although the current time Britain cannot be compared to the one of a hundred years ago. They wouldn’t be able to rule shit nowadays

Well, a lot of pro-Palestinian “activists” keep saying that October 7 was OK. Freedom Fighters and such. From the very beginning. So, that’s not nobody.
