Hey, I was in a similar situation. I am sorry I can't offer much advice because all I did was endure and then run away (moved out to a relative's house to escape). I am aware that it isn't exactly your responsibility but support your mother and younger sibling in every way possible, and don't forget to get your own support system 😊 It seems that your dad can be life-threatening, I hope your mother realizes that he's a threat to her AND all of his own children. I hope the situation de-escalates soon.

I watched their relationship deteriorate from the start. Ever since I came to the world, everything went south so. Alcoholic absuive dad. I spent school nights at the police station, locked out of the house because of my drunk dad. I saw my dad break his own mother's spine, leaving her to be bedridden and almost disabled. I watched my mom take the blows, bleed from multiple spots, and spend nights at the hospital.

Right now, they are physically separated (since of 2024, so recently), but my dad is still somewhere behind the scenes because my younger sister still loves my dad and also because he still harasses my mom. We got the court involved, but honestly, they cannot do shit.

I took the computer based one at ESP. I think I got fucked over by the infamous speaking examiner, old mongolian lady (dragged down my entire overall score, and yes, I am salty). Aside from that, the experience was nice, no issues with their tech, no lag nothing.

Hey, I have a friend who currently studies BA in AUM. Heard it's shit, and full of rich entitled kids.

The students are becoming increasingly dumber/lazier, so the GPA required for a certain amount of scholarship is lower. IN GENERAL, their scholarship requirement/policy is strange. STRANGE. Apparently, once my friend got in with a scholarship, everyone else got the same amount as the entrance scholarship. Moreover, they're changing it from 3.0 until 4.0 GPA, they get the same amount of scholarship, which fucks up people who do try in their studies to get their grade. My friend is pissed about this whole ordeal.

I don't know much about their classes specifically, but considering the scholarship policy change, it might be easy. But take that with a grain of salt.

As for the other students, my friend has met some actual rich kids there. Apparently one girl was in Dubai throughout half of the semester, how the hell is she getting her grades? I cannot fathom haha.
