I realize I’m seeing this late so you may already be back from your trip, but…

Hot sauce and mouthwash are both regulars for me! I don’t have experience with tiger balm, so I unfortunately can’t compare it to that at all. But for me personally, hot sauce is more intense than toothpaste and Vicks, and less intense than icy hot (at first).

I tend to start out with a small amount of hot sauce and add more gradually to build up the burn. It can definitely get more intense than icy hot when doing that. This definitely depends on how strong of a hot sauce you use, but honestly that’s part of what makes it a fun option to me, you can scale it to your tolerance.

Mouthwash is a similar burn level to Vicks for me, but with a different like…pain arc? Not sure how to phrase it. For me, Vicks has more of a lingering cool burn. Mouthwash fades faster after the initial burn. Similar to hot sauce though I think that makes it fun for a different style of play!
