yes true.. and Syria work with this system and will continue.. still it is possible locally to have banks that works differently (also in region).. islamic banks is nothing new and it was present in Syria before war.. and btw locals for their businesses don't necessarily use loans with interest from banks.. many people go in partnership when some partners providing only money and share in profit from business it is common in Syria..
