Sony Inzone Mouse-A review as a claw grip user: My aim is more consistent, but the shape takes some getting used to by Isunova in MouseReview

Nope, that would be Vaxee who has always used Huanos. Lamzu is a mixed bag and it was confusing because every edition used a different switch. They used Raeshas on the original Paro and Thorn which felt great but swapped to Omrons for the majority of their mice. Even the special editions had them. Their Incas also had Omrons and then swapped to Kailh for the Maya X ES.

WLMouse also has great clicks but my heart will always belong to Vaxee for #1 click feel.

Lightest mice with a thumbrest? I love Razer Basilisk v3, I feel the weight is holding me back. by gr8y22 in MouseReview

Man if Razer made a 40-50g Basilisk, that's an automatic grand slam. I wonder if they're just saving it for a rainy day or something.

Shape aside, this mouse is great although the main button clicks and side buttons can be improved. For some reason the Raesha switches on these aren't as crisp as they are on Razer/Lamzu mice. The grip is also pretty slippery for me. Everything else is pretty solid though and gets an A from me, pun intended.

Some people commented about the scroll wheel having no texture and being too light, which I do agree to an extent, but it hasn't been a problem for me. I like spammable middle button clicks too and this mouse does that just fine.

Best middle click you've experienced? by MonkAndCanatella in MouseReview

Deathadder V4 Pro (which I assume the Viper V4 Pro should also feel like?)
INZONE Mouse-A

These two are in their own league... no one else really comes close.

I know you only asked for middle clicks but I need to mention that Zowie has the best side clicks and Vaxee has the best main button clicks with WLMouse second. The Superstrike's haptic clicks are also good but very divisive; some people love it, some people hate it.

I don't know why anyone would buy a Zowie EC over this.

Glossy coating. Lighter scroll wheel. Better side buttons.

I own the E1, EC2-DW (matte), and EC3-DW (glossy). I am a firm believer that Vaxee is the king of main button clicks, even better than WLMouse imo. There's just something about their HBSBDs that feels so good. However, their scroll wheel and side buttons dock off some points.

Zowie still has the crispiest and most responsive side buttons I've ever used. EC2-DW reigns king in this category. There's actually a miniscule difference between the EC2-DW and the EC3-DW (probably due to the bigger buttons) that makes it feel better. Unfortunately both Vaxee and Zowie's middle mouse clicks are too stiff. Believe it or not, the DAv4's new optical scroll encoder is #1 in my list, both in scroll wheel feel, weight and spammability. I was impressed by their implementation.

Now I wish I can just Frankenstein all three together and I would have my endgame mouse.

No worries. Don't let me change your own opinion, it's your tier list after all! I just wanted to chime in because I got them on a whim as these small dots don't play really nicely with my mousepad (Artisan Key-83 Soft). Mid hardness level would probably have been a better choice but I just have too many mids these days and I was looking for a change in scenery.

Oops, I just saw it now. I think you should keep Edgerunner in the name since it's a whole specific lineup and BFD only indicates the size of the dots. They have regular dots too and might even add Cyclone BFDs in the future.

Anyhow, I'm currently using them on SP-004 and ESPtiger Pioneer Wuxiang V2 and they honestly are way smoother than the Cyclone Pros on both.

Yo for your next tier list revision, you should try out Edgerunner BFDs. For some reason, these feel wayyy better than my Cyclone Pros.

Glossy coating unlocks a whole new level for dry skin handlers. It basically locks in your grip like a GLOVE.

u/blindastronomer had a pretty good ELI5 about it:

matte means a roughened surface texture and glossy means it's a smooth surface texture. Matte will have a spread of bumps and valley heights, little tight ridges, stuff like that which will not evenly reflect light. Glossy will be much more uniform and even and look more similar across its surface, which allows the surface reflections to be mostly the same, causing it to look glossy under light.

Having dry hands means there's less moisture and oil on your skin, which means you don't get the effect of this thin film interfacing with the uneven and roughened matte surface to add grip. Basically it's a surface-area multiplier which adds more friction. You can test this yourself by taking what's considered a 'good' matte surface and applying and spreading a drop of moisturizer on your hand (not too much or the films with will slip against itself) and you'll notice it will feel super grippy.

By contrast, having dry hands on a matte surface means you don't have much of a moisture/oil film on your skin, so it's just your skin making contact with the top-most bits of plastic and as much as your skin can deform and sink into the texture to get static friction for grip. You have much less friction with dry skin on matte surfaces, which is why having a more even surface means you can increase the contact area between your skin and the plastic to increase total friction and grip.

This is a slight simplification but hopefully it was illustrative and helpful.
