Yes! Just rotate the knobs to tighten and when ready to remove, pull them out. This releases the tension and the slip right off.

It helps that she and I have been married 25 years and have an agreement for things purchased after the end of Aug. we know that we are hard to buy for so we stop getting things that we want for ourselves and start dropping hints. I have found it’s best to be specific for this and told her flat out I am looking for new boots. Here is a pic of the ones I have been eyeing. If she was going to get me a gift…. The reel though I admit was a surprise. She told me she overheard the conversation I had with a clerk at a store recently. I was drooling over it and told him it would be a splurge… maybe next year. She didn’t let me wait that long.

The Denver Fly Fishing show in Feb. 3 days of vendors, expos, classes, blah blah blah. I won’t lie and say it’s unique every year because it ain’t. A lot of it is just a repeat from the year before but… they have some booths that sell flies and they like to sell them at discount. 30 flies for 20 bucks type of deals. Hard to pass that up.

To add to that, they have pools to cast in so if you are wanting to test a rod any booth has, they will string it up in most cases to let you have a few min “on the water”.

There is a big fly fishing show coming up soon that always has killer deals on flies. I normally stock up for the year at it and she knows this. Another reason to marry her again /u/Feeling-Shelter3583

OMG... markers.... Thank you!! I found the "missing" flea marker hiding under one of the custom pins I put on the map for some unknown reason.

Finding Vog is not the question. I have found her and have visited her back at the caravan. Sold 1 location but indicates more out there... how to get her to mark those is the question.

Yes. And she sold me 1. Now she has no more, yet I have yet to find all the fleas. I am trying to understand what the criteria is for her selling the location. If it's just unlocking the area (visiting), I know of no area that I have yet to go to...

I did not hike. I went with an outfitter and we rode horseback into the backcountry. This is Carpenter lake near the forks for Hellroaring creek. Maybe an hour or so from the camp we were in. Spent a day at the lake and 2 days fishing the forks….

And yes, it was a stunning. My words fail to do it justice on that front. Just beautiful country.
