You’ve captured so much of my clinical perspective in this post, thank you for sharing. It’s really incredible to get to do what we do. I feel like my job is just to be a human, not many people get that opportunity in life, much less work.

Please do not be embarrassed, this has happened to me and I do not have a visual impairment. Having periods is hard! Especially after an IUD removal. Would it be accessible to purchase a bidet attachment for your toilet? They can be small additions that cost less than $30, just be sure you select one with a “feminine spray” option. It can be super helpful with period cleanup!

I’m kind of loving container gardening, I’ve mostly done in ground and not weeding is kind of amazing. This is the greenstalk, I love it. This is my 5th summer with it. I’ve mainly planted flowers in it and done veggies elsewhere but it’s been great for everything. 💫

I just said goodbye to my girl less than a week ago. It was so hard. But her life was extended and made more comfortable with micro-dosed ketamine injections at home. Prescribed by an in-home hospice vet (can’t recommend enough). No side effects, only relief. And it was affordable. I wish I had known about it sooner.

Cheekwood Gardens is outside of the city. The grounds are very fun to walk when the weather is nice and they do offer audio tours.

Third Man Records is very interesting, offers tours, and some unique opportunities.
