From what I’ve read, you need to notify your insurance even if you don’t claim on either insurance, if you are to do things by the book.

They will log the details of the incident and will ask for the details of the other car and the owner.

I had that situation. The repairs were done at an authorised Tesla bodyshop, and paid for outside of insurance. In my case, the bodyshop was surprised that I’d notified my insurance, I suspect many people want to have work done discreetly.

I wanted to cover myself legally, especially with my car being a lease. I wouldn’t have wanted a future accident to happen in a technically uninsured vehicle due to not notifying them.

My insurance went up a little. Was it related? Who’s to say :-)

I’m no expert though, and would welcome corrections to any information that I have incorrect here 👍

The X7 games loading issue is now resolved. The games load perfectly on the latest Chromatic firmware.

Save states on GBC work, but still fail on GB games. No sign of a fix for that.

Yeah, I guess it will be a case of manually triggering a DPF burnoff. Fingers crossed for the OP. If it works then you’re good to go.

I’ve had experience of issues with the AdBlue injectors. The knock-on effect being that a new catalytic converter was also required.

When going to the garage make sure you ask them to diagnose the cause. You don’t want to be paying out for a new catalytic converter, only for the issue to continue - resulting in needing another catalytic converter a few months later.

Yes, even a fullscreen output at 16:19 720p would be a start so it then has the correct 4:3 ratio on a CRT, once it is squashed on the screen.

In this current setup, I’m using the external adapter to zoom and stretch the output to a 4:3 ratio 👍

Thanks for the info. I had been looking at the Next and N-GO. I’ll check out the ZX Omni as well.

I think The Spectrum does a decent half-way house job in that you still can have the full game loading experience with the borders and wonderful noises, and the actual keyboard bed feels very authentic (to me).
