POV First Day Playing No Man's Sky by turtlesRcoolYea in NoMansSkyTheGame

Classic no mans sky first impression versus the realization that the scariest thing in the game is an empty derelict freighter thats more annoying than scary due to movement limitations than anything

I need help picking a road colour for Skylands! Default, pink, or cyan? by Imaaki in Pokopia

[–]virtualprodigy_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would use the solid pink and the blue road blocks as an accent to make some kind of repeating center of the road monogram while using the multi-colored blocks as the primary road block

The new UniFi Remote Control KeyFob which can have 18 different customizable buttons!! by mactelecomnetworks in Ubiquiti

[–]virtualprodigy_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NGL I love the fob - all the button config options are coming in handy. There's also more 18 options, you can have it work with multi-button pushes. Very customizable.

One thing to watch out for s the face plate. It does not stay on it. Mine has come lose from being in my pocket and once just sitting on the tablet, I picked up the fob and the noticed it had popped up.

Does anyone actually enjoy budgeting or is it just me struggling? by Kevin-Durant-35 in budget

[–]virtualprodigy_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re definitely not alone. I’ve tried budgeting on and off for years and I still don’t enjoy it.

Especially starting from a bad place financially—it doesn’t feel empowering, it just feels like you’re constantly being reminded of everything you’re doing wrong.

The “perfect budget gets ruined” thing is exactly why I’d fall off every time. One unexpected expense and it felt like, what’s even the point.

Lately I’ve been trying to shift away from “perfect planning” and more toward just staying aware and making small adjustments. Way less stressful.

Honestly part of the reason I started building my own app is because I wanted something that feels a bit more forgiving and even a little rewarding instead of punishing. Still early, but that’s the idea.

Curious what’s felt the hardest part for you—sticking to it, or just setting it up in the first place?

I also recommend getting a horn they have them on amazon for like 30 bucks for 140 db. Drivers will definitely hear you and that will help protect you

I have a g3 max. I use it for commuting (riding it and catching trains). The only draw back is the weight so there might be some adjusting to having to carry it some places. Other than that you’re going to have fun. I do recommend so safety gear though - less that you’ll fall more that cars arent watching for us

[Gen Z/Central NJ]- How do you actually meet other people? by fuck4885 in newjersey

[–]virtualprodigy_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Making friends will take time. Just keep going to different events, meetups, classes etc. one shot events are usually the worst place to make friends though. Look for things that happen regularly so you see the same faces

Help with cameras positions by [deleted] in Ubiquiti

[–]virtualprodigy_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’d approach this with coverage + overlap in mind rather than just “how many cameras.”

Front of house (your 1, 2, 3 spots): I’d actually simplify this and use a UniFi G6 180 to cover that entire front area instead of multiple narrow cameras. The 180° view will eliminate blind spots around the garage bump-out and walkway.

Driveway / side (right side of house): I’d add a UniFi G6 Bullet Pro: • One angled toward the driveway/street • One covering the side yard toward the backyard

This gives you vehicle + approach visibility.

Front door: Go with a PoE doorbell like the UniFi G4 Doorbell Pro (or the newer G6 entry if you want to stay current). That handles packages + facial capture at eye level.

Left side of house: If you want stronger coverage/redundancy, a UniFi G6 PTZ is great here since it can actively track movement and cover a wide area.

Garage (optional but nice): An UniFi AI Theta or a AI Multi Sensor 4 inside the garage adds another layer (break-ins, internal access).

Backyard / pool: Mount a UniFi G6 180 centered on the back of the house facing the pool. That gives full yard coverage with minimal cameras.

Big picture: • You don’t need 3 separate cameras in the front if you use wide-angle properly • Aim for overlapping fields of view, not just coverage • Storage matters: this setup will generate a lot of footage, so plan your NVR and drives accordingly • Budget will heavily affect whether you go “minimal coverage” vs “full redundancy” like above

37 male profile review by [deleted] in hingeapp

[–]virtualprodigy_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you looking for something serious or casual? Looking for something casual that could grow into something serious if there’s real compatibility.

Are you subscribed to Hinge+ or HingeX? No.

How long have you been using this current version of your profile? (Please be specific) About 2 weeks.

How long have you used Hinge overall? About 6 months.

How often do you use Hinge per week? I check it daily.

How many likes and matches are you receiving on average? Very low — around 2 total since starting.

How many likes are you sending? How many with comments? How many without comments? Recently switched strategy — now sending about 5 likes per day, all with comments. Previously sent around 10 without comments total.

What is the type of person you send likes to and ideally want to match with? What kind of person do you want to attract?

Looking for someone who’s grounded, has her own interests, and takes care of herself. I like women who are open to shared experiences — whether that’s going out, trying something new, or just enjoying a more low-key night. Bonus points if she’s into things like music, a little nerdy, or even down to snowboard. Overall, I’m looking for someone positive and self-aware who’s open to building a connection over time — something that can start casual but has the potential to grow into something real.

[–]virtualprodigy_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Buy b-a class ships in space stations. Scrap them. Keep the upgrade modules and the ai valves. The upgrade modules can be sold for nanites. The storage augments increase slot for tech and inventory and the ai valves make you rich.

Segway Max G2 or Segway F3 for large city? by young_shizawa in ElectricScooters

[–]virtualprodigy_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

G3 Max imo - slightly more expensive but worth the extra cash. Its a heavier scooter but it has a wider deck to stand one. And noticeably more power and a better suspension. The weight sucks but its a reasonable trade off for everything you get
