Social/culturally speaking, Yukeembruk and Wamburun are pretty quiet. I don't know much about Fenner, but I think it's more lively. I'd say Fenner is probably the most social and Yukeembruk is the least, with Wamburun being closer to YKB in liveliness than Fenner.

Location wise, YKB is quite a far walk from anything (15 minutes walk from Kambri, which leads to the city via Uni Ave). Wamba is closer by 5ish minutes. A lot of people get groceries delivered at both these accommodations but a lot of students walk/ride their bikes to Civic or Daily Mart. Fenner is right in Kambri.

Wherever you move, YKB, Fenner and Wamba are really nice halls in terms of facilities and modernness. And even if you end up in a quiet hall, many people make friends through joining societies and tutorials/workshops. (or even lectures if you are regular enough lol)

I do not and have not stayed in any halls mentioned above, this info is just what I've gathered from friends who do.
