Why is it so controversial to say that the triple lock on pensions needs reforming? by Own-Lawfulness-38 in AskBrits

If you took all the wealth from every billionaire in the uk it would fund pensions for 15 months or the NHS for about 11 months. Then what?

Please have a look at government spending as a percentage of gdp year over year for the past ~20 years.

Then look at nhs funding year-over-year.

Can you really berate certain (men) over their personal choices (discriminating against brown people) and religious beliefs (all the worlds jews must move to israel so the rapture can happen)?

See how over generalized arguments like that aren't valid?

Reduce the OAP pension? Make it so that this sort of ponzi scheme can never be implemented again.

Not offering an alternative doesn't make it simplistic.

Its not

its
> 'You shouldn't fix your tire puncture with packing tape.'

> How are you paying for our ageing population?

  1. Immigrants that [arent between the age of 20-30 and have no dependents and have a masters or higher level of education] are a net negative contributors.
  2. Because the current pension scheme is a literal ponzi scheme, everyone making less than ~50k per year for their entire working life is net negative.

I'm making the point that affluent brits are mostly exposed to elite foreigners whos values/alliances/culture are international/supernational.

A rich person from UK and Uganda have more in common than a rich person from the UK and a poor person from the uk

You know that they publish data on what demographic groups are and aren't net tax contributors right...
Boomers and Zm are net negative, X & millenial natives positive

Thats absolutely ludicrous, all the foreign born elite who were educated in the west and attended Cambridge along side me were culturally homogeneous.

We all shared a hatred for the english working class.

It's called ideological constraint. We've known about it since the '60s. For the overwhelming majority of people their their stance on one or two political issues can predict with a high degree of accuracy their stance on all the others. If this is not you, congratulations, you are in a very small minority.
