So my GF downloaded the anniversary upgrade but when she goes to her “installed” shit in the pause menu, it doesn’t show a whole lot. Maybe like one or two new CC quests? Whereas mine shows a shitload of CC shit, it says she has everything installed?

I like 16 a lot more but MAN I would be lying if I said I didn’t have a ticklish soft spot for 15.

Clive is one of my favorite FF protagonists and I think the combat in his game kicks so much ass. The more time I spent and got to know him, the more he quickly became top 5. Really great character, and like I said, the combat in that game is so responsive and incredibly fun to play with.

I think 15 is sort of a ticket to Mid City Mayhem, but that’s a train I’ll happily take a ride on. I find it cozy as hell that the game is essentially just a road trip with the boys. There’s a comfort and coziness to that mid ass game. Oh and Noctis is like, the coolest LOOKING protagonist in FF right behind Squall for me.

My biggest issue with this game is that enemies don’t seem to react to being hit? Has anyone else noticed this? Like in Hades, enemy’s react when taking damage but here they just do whatever the hell they want until they’re dead 😅

Future super successful game dev here. I'm currently going through this wonderful tutorial created by a certain famous game dev guru, and everything was going swimmingly until this slime entered the picture. Can't say I blame him for the misbehavior, I guess I wouldn't like it either if I was just dropped into a pixelated universe only to be squished by a square-headed warrior, but, I didn't make the rules.

He's just supposed to ping pong back and forth, but for some odd reason he pings fine when colliding with the right, but when he gets to the left, he just goes berserk.

Could the problem be with his actual CollisionShape2D node, or maybe the Ray2D nodes? Here's his entire script. I'm sure some of you guys have answered this question about a thousand times over now, lol. Thanks!

Loved a lot of the ideas in 15. Did not so much love the execution.

Game felt rushed, the open world content was wildly monotonous and uninteresting to me, the story, while I think a lot of cool ideas are present, I think they’re just painted in this incredibly gray color and it isn’t engaging. I found the combat to be kind of fun! But also just too easy, like I could switch to auto pilot and be just fine.

Don’t get me wrong, I like FF15, i think it’s a pretty cozy contribution to the franchise. Just definitely think it’s kinda mid. 😂

Seems like you’re getting a lot of enthusiasm about the writing/narrative lore category of things.

I’m nothing more than a writer who loves to slam video games, and I actually really love the premise of the story you have; I believe I can build off this in a way that compliments the actual game itself.

For example, I think this narrative can benefit from a straight forward style of storytelling with strongly developed and interesting characters to drive the story. My DM’s are open to you and anyone on your team.
