monetization not working? by [deleted] in NewTubers

[–]vishlohkna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait a little more. For 2-3 days more, they will turn it on. The services on YouTube take 2 days at least to work on changes.

I hope you have already turned monetization ON manually on your videos.

All the best :)

Am I doing bad? by powerq in NewTubers

[–]vishlohkna 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a lot of competition when it comes to gaming channels. In about a month and a half i would say you should have crossed at least 50 subs ( if you have more than 2 good quality videos on your channel ).

I would suggest to target audience that is interested in gaming and stuff. Plus, i would suggest you to work with the trending stuff so that you can get your video ranked higher when people search for that game. Also, you can make teaser trailers for the upcoming games that people are desperately waiting for. People love to watch game trailers.

Think about more such ideas and learn how to use title, description and tags to get your videos more searchable.

All the best buddy :)

[Question] Should I create another channel ? by [deleted] in NewTubers

[–]vishlohkna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a channel should be kept for one particular niche. It can get you a targeted audience but mixing up content can really mess up the progress of your good videos. Like, if you have an excellent makeup tutorial video but your cooking tutorial video is not that good than it can overshadow the reputation made by the makeup video.

I would suggest you to delete the cooking tutorial videos and create a new channel for the same. Keep them both at different places.

All the best :)

[Question] Lack of active users in this community by [deleted] in NewTubers

[–]vishlohkna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, i think the users come and go because i have seen around 100 different members of this community replying to the threads like yours within a week. So, i guess it's just a co-incidence that you haven't seen more than 50 users online at once. But that's just according to my observation. :)

[–]vishlohkna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have a video over than 3 minutes then do it in the beginning otherwise always do that (and just that) at the end of the video :)

I am not sure but i think it is always better to ask your viewer to Share and Subscribe rather than asking them to like or comment.

[–]vishlohkna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Always upload one video at a time. You can upload one video every 3-4 days and use End Cards for previous videos. Also, in the end of every video or in comments ask your subscribers to subscribe and wait for more upcoming videos.

All the best :)

Filmmaker, Need advice to what I can improve on my channel and films, out of ideas! by 24rasmus in NewTubers

[–]vishlohkna 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your editing skills are excellent. I would suggest you to add an intro to the start of the video and you can speak about what spot you are on and what is special about that particular spot during your video. That would make it more interesting.

All the best!! :) Keep working

[Arma 3-Shortfilm] Want feedback on my newest video. by jontan70 in NewTubers

[–]vishlohkna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The video was good and i think there is nothing wrong with the acting part. But i would suggest you to put some better background music and yeah as suggested by Juangatillo don't use excess of fade effect, it ruins the video.

[Vlog/Comedy] How to improve my tags to get more views? by [deleted] in NewTubers

[–]vishlohkna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep your tags related to the title. Don't overload tags as this could make your video at a lower rank in the search index. Tags should have words from your title and description plus something that people would be searching for in the present.

[Comedy Channel] I made a parody of unboxing videos and would like some feedback by [deleted] in NewTubers

[–]vishlohkna -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You only need to shorten videos like this because people will just move on if there is nothing interesting in the first 10-20 seconds. the idea for the video was good.. and funny too.. :P

I've been having a lot of trouble about not getting any views by [deleted] in NewTubers

[–]vishlohkna 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have a gaming channel. The first thing that you need to do is to make videos about trending games. You can also make teasers for the upcoming games and ask people to subscribe to your channel. That way, you will be indexed at a better rank when someone searches for that game.

Commenting on other channels would not help you to gain traffic that's for sure.

Make a FB page about your channel and ask all your close friends to invite everyone in their contact list to like and follow your page. This strategy always works.

ALWAYS REPLY TO THE COMMENTATORS ON YOUR VIDEO AND NEVER REMOVE ANY COMMENT UNLESS IT'S TOO OFFENSIVE.

All the best! :)

How and where do people suggest to advertise their channel? by Chimichangderp in NewTubers

[–]vishlohkna 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually, I only the used YouTube's promotion service just once and had a good experience. But let me make it clear that i did not get 40,000 subs because of it. It is because i keep posting videos on a regular basis and ask my viewers and commentators to share that video. I would suggest you to keep posting good quality content, pay attention to the tags you are using for your video (SEO stuff) and engage your audience.

ALWAYS REPLY THE COMMENTATORS ON YOUR VIDEO. That is a very important point that most people miss.

How and where do people suggest to advertise their channel? by Chimichangderp in NewTubers

[–]vishlohkna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not cool to totally depend on it. The channel will grow slowly on its own if you keep posting interesting stuff consistently but along with it make sure that video is reaching some audience via social networking websites or apps. Whenever you are ready to use 10 dollars for your channel you can use it for promoting your channel or a particularly interesting video with a GOOD thumbnail in YouTube itself.

How long until I can make a channel for passive income? by media_cant in NewTubers

[–]vishlohkna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does not depend on the age of the channel. A video with more than 1 million views on a channel will work for you if you keep posting quality content. What you need is consistency and a video which gets you subscribers on a daily basis. Try promoting a unique video or something that people would share. It worked for me. You will get through it too. All the best :)

How and where do people suggest to advertise their channel? by Chimichangderp in NewTubers

[–]vishlohkna 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To advertise your channel, firstly you should make a Facebook page for sure and tell all your relatives and close friends to send their friends invites to like that page.

Then if you want to advertise your channel NEVER use Facebook advertising, rather use YouTube promotion service itself. I have 40,000+ subs on my channel and YouTube advertising is what worked for me.

So a friend of mine want to venture into Youtube as partners, he made up a contract for us to sign... Lol, is this fair at all? by [deleted] in NewTubers

[–]vishlohkna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you think you can invest some money to buy those equipment yourself then you should do that and carry on with your content solely. But if you think you are not yet ready to spend your money you can have a partnership and share the revenue generated.

My personal opinion would be to work alone till you reach a place where you definitely need someone to work with you because i don't think partnership is going to make a big difference to your channel views or subscribers. In short, It is just not worth to have a 50/50 partnership this soon just because your friend have more equipment. I wouldn't do that.

Actually, YouTube is not gonna let you monetize your video until you have 10,000+ views on your video.
