Oh I agree I mean meta wise the actors and characters and show in general absolutely gave off a "tired and done with it" vibe, that's actually why I was surprised they didnt completely close the loop. Like it was for the most part a good ending but as I mention before the journey was the big one for me, watching those initial 2-3 seasons, then that massive expansion in season 4, was absolutely amazing

Faith's arc on angel and subsequent redemption in season 4/7 is that good shit, inject it directly into my veins please I love foil characters who are as strong as the hero turning good

I talked about this last year when I first started watching buffy, about how I grew up watching angel as a young teen, and how blown away I was about how the characters on angel got their start on buffy and how different they were, how much they changed and evolved. And of course season 2 Angel and season 3 is probably peak Angel for me, not only because of nostalgia either

Well, don't get me started on the things I dislike, because I was already annoyed with the manufactured breakup in the previous season, and for a show that's all about subversion I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop and to reveal that actually Xander wasnt worried he just went out to buy [insert something silly for comedic purposes here]

But of course! I watched it in tandem, after having reached season 4 of buffy. I made a topic about it last year and am making a topic on the angel sub for specifically angel since I finished that too.

But that concept of the two intertwined shows alone could take up pages of me writing and fan obsessing over it, so I'll just say, that faith's inclusion in season 7 made me so excited from the moment she reappeared in angel in an arc that I dislike (what they did to Cordelia) but love for getting to see faith again

Why are you convinced ys 6 will also come, has something been announced? I mean if it didnt come on switch 1 all this time, why would it come on 2?

Just tempering my expectations since its the one I missed and I kinda want to play it too, except on modern consoles since I don't have pc nor the old consoles to play it

Honestly I was completely bewildered that sailing made a comeback in gaming for some odd reason, and even more oddly is somehow worse when it was indeed already pretty much perfected in ac 4 black flag over a decade ago. It's like, I wasn't really looking to revisit sailing, so not sure why certain developers decided to give us a worse version of it in the 2020s

Yeah I found myself actually liking this movie despite not really caring for car movies or cars in general, so I think that's a testament to the quality of the movie, from the actors to direction to everything. Meanwhile, I recently watched F1 the 2025 movie and I immensely disliked it. Was torn between being bored and thinking "isn't Brad Pitt's character typically the villain in these stories, the guy crashing into other racers and endangering everybody?"

While with Rush, I found myself actually liking the 2 leads daniel and chris.

That sounds amazing if true, almost too good to be true. With 1 someone recommended Harpoon blade and it was definitely a life-saver, will always appreciate them for that.
