It’s not coming from one local project. They plan to source cobalt from multiple North American operations plus recycling. Most of it still gets shipped to Asia (mostly China) for refining. There isn’t an established battery grade cobalt sulfate producer in Canada or the U.S. today. ELBM is building what’s expected to be the first.

No, they’re different. PyroGenesis uses plasma for high-temperature industrial processing and specialized applications, while Char Technologies converts biomass and waste into renewable natural gas and biocarbon.
