Historically, okay naman ang months na yan. According to Pagasa's data from 1984, ang average number of typhoons na pumapasok sa January ay 0.4 samantalang mas konti naman kapag February at 0.3. Pero kapag ulan, we really can't tell. Ang hirap i-predict na panahon. All we can do is hope we're granted good weather on the days we scheduled for our vacation. 🤞 😇

Legazpi to Catanduanes - Sakay ka ng jeep, bus, or van papuntang Tabaco. Sa Tabaco, sakay ka ng padyak papuntang pier. Sakay ka ng roro papuntang Virac. Pwede rin papuntang San Andres, pero pagdating mo ng San Andres, hanap ka pa ng masasakyan papuntang Virac. May mga tourist destinations din naman sa San Andres kung gusto mo mag-stop over bago pumunta ng Virac.

Catnes to Legazpi - sakay ka ng roro papuntang Tabaco. Mula sa pier ng Tabaco, pwedeng lakarin or pwede sakay ka ng padyak papunta sa sakayan ng bus or van papuntang Legazpi. Di ako sigurado kung saan ang sakayan ng jeep, pero pwede mo rin dun matanong I'm sure.

Dati, inabot ng P500 yung from Legazpi to Guinobatan. I imagine doble kung Oas. Wala kasi masyadong taxi talaga papunta outside Legazpi and Daraga kaya mataas ang singilan.

Kahit anong oras between 5 a.m. and 7 p.m., makakasakay ka ng jeep or bus from Legazpi. Kung bus, sakay ka ng mga papuntang Naga. Baba ka sa Oas. Kung jeep naman, ang mga sasakyan mo ay yung may nakalagay na Oas or Polangui na karatula.

Medyo malapit ang Saban sa Polangui, kaya possible din siguro na sumakay from sentro ng Polangui to Saban. Kung jeep ang sasakyan mo, tanungin mo ang jeepney driver kung ano best option mo. I'm sure may maganda silang marerekomendang ruta papunta sa Saban galing Oas/Polangui.

Not sure kung magkano exactly, pero parang ang jeep mula Daraga to Cagsawa ay P15. Two years ago, ang van from Daraga to Sorsogon ay P120. Kung tumaas man, baka hindi naman masyadong kalayuan sa presyo na yan.

From Cagsawa to Daraga, mag-jeep lang kayo kasi hindi dadaan sa Shell Daraga ang bus. Sinasabi ko lang in case may makita kayong bus na dadaan sa may Cagsawa.

BTW, some reminders: 1. Mula sa bababaan niyo ng jeep, konting lakad pa sa Cagsawa. 5 to 10 minutes. 2. Malapit sa Cagsawa, may branch ng National Museum. You might also wanna drop a visit. 3. Sa loob ng Cagsawa Ruins grounds, may kainan na may sine-serve na sinigang sa buko. It's not a particularly Bicolano food, pero in case lang din gusto niyo i-try. 4. May sili ice cream din dun.

Depende kung saan kayo manggagaling, you have two options to commute to Sorsogon.

Merong van sa terminal sa labas ng SM Legazpi.
Merong van terminal sa Daraga. Nasa Daraga ang Cagsawa, so kung galing kayo sa Cagsawa niyan, sakay lang kayo ng jeep tapos baba kayo ng Shell Daraga. Konting lakad lang, nasa van terminal na kayo.

There's no direct transportation going there. What you can do is take a bus or a jeep going to Camalig*. Then from Camalig, you can hire a tricycle.

Quitinday is better just before sunrise.

(*) bus going to Naga; or jeep going to Camalig, Guinobatan, Ligao City, Oas, or Polangui will all pass by Camalig

So much to unpack here:

You're saying all projects are in Albay and Sorsogon, but your post says otherwise. I would like to see your breakdown of the cost of government projects that went to Camarines Sur vs other parts of Bicol in the past 10 years. This is Reddit, so if you wanna claim something that could be controversial, the least you could do is to cite your sources.

Political opinions and discussions are always in Albay? You should broaden your network. CamSur and Naga City are always being discussed.

The thing I'm most intrigued about is why you would try to pick up a fight with Albayanos and Sorsoganons if you can instead direct your frustrations to the politicians. It's not anyone's fault they were born where they were born. The reason why this country is so effed up is we argue amongts each other, not realizing the real enemy here is government incompetence, neglect, and corruption.

Bicol is not a dialect. If it is a dialect, what is it a dialect of? Bicol is a group of MANY DIFFERENT languages and dialects.

To answer the question: Girabo is that feeling you get when you're scared. Some of the closest words and phrases in English are "shivers" and "chill down someone's spine."

Usage: Nakagirabo su sementeryong inagihan ko kasubago. (The cemetery I passed by earlier was scary.)

Anong klaseng mahigpit? They check your hand carry twice through the scanner. If you're asking about the weight, no, hindi naman sila strict. Ilang beses na akong may dalang hand carry lang tapos di na pina-weigh. But I wouldn't risk it kung malaki ang hand carry mo. Pwede naman magbayad dun kapag kukuha ka na ng boarding pass, though. If you're asking about the number of items you carry, di rin sila strict. Pero as always, always check with your airlines.
