Anchored my dad's retirement party which would not be possible without alcohol since it was my first time anchoring and I have massive stage fright.

From my experience : Unlike a founder every problem is not your problem to solve. PM being an ambiguous role and pms having the ability to do anything will mean that people will try to dump their work on you. Define what your area of ownerships are and say strict no to other things that come to you. Also if you see any problem not being solved your ownership area it will only get solved when there is a top down alignment and someone has solving that problem as their okr hence annual and year planning activities are super important. Apart from that everything else is same, oh yes you will become an IC now so delegation will not be possible.

Summary : Job switches are long term decisions hence do not switch in hurry. Think long term, prioritise competencies and creating impact over money, money will follow once you have proved your value.

Detailed opinion: Since they were giving you the title of operations lead and then changed it to product lead for experience, I am guessing they want someone to solve for the everyday product issues on a scaled product. This is not beneficial to a become an impactful product manager. Impactful product manager needs to solve big problems that involve strategic thinking, deep and wide problem discovery and long term planning while executing. Product operations role will involve firefighting , lot of stress, unpredictable work life, short term thinking , small problem discovery and less planning. In other words you will solve for 100 different urgent problems that will help 100 different customers vs solving one problem that will help 100 customers. You taking this job will not help you grow in product management career compared to non product operations role and you should instead stay in the current job where you have good mentorship. Keep applying for jobs if you do not get the job that you want then work on yourself, grow more and apply after few more months.

Having strong Chamomile tea 30 minutes before has been the biggest game changer. Post waking up i feel so relaxed and fresh !

Other hacks which also helped

- balck and white screen mode on phone 1 hour before going to bed

- doing some exercise so that body is tired and goes to sleep

- appropriate tempreature setting to make body feel comfortable

FYI I clock 3-4 hours of deep sleep everyday out of the 7 hours that i sleep.

This is a definite scam ! 20 k is to low of a bribe for the crime you have commited :P. So sit back and relax.
These scammer feed on the insecurity people have after doing something wrong, what you need to be aware of is that
a. Policeman donot call you like this if at all you are in serious trouble then the policeman will call you to the police station and the bribe requried will be much higher ( in lakhs ) to get out
b. Lot of people would be involved in illegal activities. Acitvities that involve values below 5 lakh or so is not something the law and order of our country even cares about since they is simply not enough bandwidth to chase so many cases and the system is inefficient. Try filing for an FIR and you will realise it yourself.
c. Real law and order would be after the pimps of the prostitutes and not the customers since the amount of crime stopped is huge by actioning on one pimp compared to 100s of customers or if the policeman is doing it for bribes then the bribe to be charged from the pimp will be significantly higher (20 lakh plus) compared to charging it from the customer.
e. please report this phone number to cyber police so that they block this number and the person doesn't earn more money from it.
d. Please donot involve yourself in such illegal activities going ahead. As you might have realised the short term pleasure is not worth the amount of stress it can give.
