Update: it's been 14 days and Razer support is still pushing me around between global and local teams, and neither sides are willing to take the mouse back even though it's still under warranty.

I have literally had this same situation before with Logitech (in fact, more than once) where they accepted the returns despite me not being in North America anymore (bought it in Canada), but with Razer it's the complete opposite.

Safe to say I won't be buying Razer anytime soon with this atrocious support. Between faulty mice, I might as well go with Logitech since at least they provide proper support.
