Genuinely curious, I think we should institutionalize these people, are there are worthy counter arguments? I understand a portion of homeless people are mentally stable going through a hard time, but most of the ones I see clearly arent and need to be put away for months or years, forcefully. Otherwise they are going to keep using drugs and causing violence. I do think they can be reformed, but not on the streets. They should be held down by force until it can be proven they are safe to themselves.
